THREE WAYS TO BOOST YOUR BODY CONFIDENCE

Three ways to boost your body confidence -

1. Alter your image -

If you’re not entirely happy with your appearance, it’s likely that your confidence is going to plummet. While others may say you look great, you might think otherwise, so making some changes to your image could help you feel more positively about your body. For example, if your hair is getting you down, you could do something about it. If you’re unhappy with your current cut, you could ask your hairdresser to give you a new style, or if your colour is dampening your spirits, you could try out a different shade. If you’re a man, it could be lack of hair is wha bothers you the most, and while some guys aren’t fussed about going bald, it can be a distressing experience for others. If your worried about your thinning or receding locks, there is help at hand. There are treatments available, such as finasteride works to prevent testorone being turned into dihydrotestosterone, a hormone that can cause hair follicles to diminish. In order for results to be seen, this treatment needs to be used continuously for a number of months. Finasteride is a prescription-only treatment, so if you’re interested in using it, or you want to find out more about other treatment options, you should speak to your GP or consult an online pharmacy such as Lloyds Pharmacy Online Doctor. Taking steps like this to improve your appearance could be the confidence boost you need.

2. Improve your physique -

How you feel about your physique can have a huge impact on your body confidence. Everyone’s body shape is different, and it’s important to remember that there is no ‘right way’ to look. However, if you’d like to feel better about yourself, there are a whole host of things you can do. If you’re looking to shed some weight, you could adopt healthier eating habits. Additionally, you could up your exercise regime and make the effort to get your body moving on a regular basis. Combining healthy eating with physical activity is a great way to get you into shape, as well as improve perception of yourself. Between cutting out junk food and hitting up the gym, you should soon start to see your body change for the better.

3. Learn to accept yourself -

Although there are steps you can take to change your appearance, learning to accept yourself can be just as effective. While you may find it difficult at first, teaching yourself to be content within your own skin could have a huge impact on your self confidence. No one is perfect and while its healthy to want to strive to be a better person, simply allowing yourself to be happy as your are is a must.

Between making some changes to your lifestyle, image and attitude towards yourself, you could discover your inner happiness and see your body confidence soar.

    1. Thanks for the comment lovely, I'm not really one for cosmetic surgery unless you are really depressed about a certain area, I feel a lot of people are doing it for the wrong reasons, attention! But that's just a personal view. I love getting my eyelashes done though and a spray tan! A spray tan gives me heaps of confidence! Have a lovely weekend xx
