JANUARY FOTD.

Happy New Year All, I thought I would start my fresh first post in January with a 'face of the day' post, I also now plan to do a fotd once a month in 2015 as I like playing around with new looks and it shows all you lot the products I have been using. I hope all of you have recovered from the drunk fueled festivities and feeling fresh and excited for new adventures that this year may bring you and you enjoy reading my blog throughout the year.

Rimmel 25 Hour Lasting finish foundation with comfort serum, Soft beige - I most likely always start my day with this stuff, it is my favorite foundation. If I'm not going anywhere special I tend to just ditch the primer in all honesty and I don't even need it with this foundation it stays put all day, doesn't go patchy or oxidase throughout the day it just stays lovingly on my face, what a gem.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, Fair - Again one of my most used favorites, this concealer is just the bees knees, it is super affordable, lasts all day, creamy and covers pimples and big black bags a treat, well almost hides the bags.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Peach glow - I use this daily too, I have had this powder for absolute ages and although I have hit pan it just keeps going and going, under five pounds and keeps my make up put a treat, I went for peach glow as I think it gives my skin a little pick me up, it isn't cakey at all and feels silky smooth on my skin.

Illamasqua Brow Cake, Thunder - This has been the best purchase for my eyebrows, I have tried lots of high street brands and there all great and do the job but this stuff will just sit fab on your brows and not budge at all through out the day, you can be as natural as you like with this or do big bold define eye brows, whatever takes your fancy, well worth investing in though.

Make Up Revolution Aqua Seal Liquid Eye Primer*
Make Up Revolution Pure Pigments, Agonise* - I mixed these both together for the perfect base, the liquid eye primer is amazing, super cheap but keeps your eye make up look on for hours! I was so impressed with this and mixing this with this pigment or a mac pigment just makes the eye look more intense, lasts for ages and leaves no creases at all, but I wasn't after a creamy/wet eye shadow look so after I mixed the both together and created the perfect base I dabbed a bit more of the pigment on with a different eye brush and created a more intense brown/smokey eye look which I loved.

Make Up Revolution All day and night eyeliner, Channeling my inner* - For a pretty but more subtle look to the normal black dramatic eyeliner I usually go for on top I chose this stunning bronze eyeliner to break the eye shadow up a bit and add a bit more definition.

Max Factor Masterpiece transform high impact volumising mascara, Black - The wand itself as a little arch going up to create those high impact volumising lashes with the tiniest bristles to make sure your eye lashes have no nasty clumps involved. It really makes your lashes stand out, volumising and lengthens them immensely, fab Christmas present of the mother in law.

Bare Minerals Bronzer, Faux tan - This bronzer is so smooth and soft on my skin it glides on a treat for the perfect subtle contour or a bronze all over the skin.

Seventeen Blusher, First flush* - This is quite a dark pink blusher, very warm undertones perfect for winter to give your cheeks a flushed look, rosy but warm and I have been using this a lot lately its beautiful and so affordable.

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish, Soft and Gentle - This is my favorite highlighter, can you see the glow above my cheek bones? I always get complimented on this whenever I wear it, my mum loves it! It makes my skin look so radiant and glowy with the most gorgeous iridescent sparkles.

Rimmel Vinyl Jelly Gloss lip liner, Choccie - I think my mother in law gave me this a couple of months ago as she said she never wore it and to be honest it had been in my muji storage for a while till I thought finally I'll try this out, I used this all over the lips for a base and coated it with the Clarins Natural lip perfector for a nude/brown lip. I am not one for the brown lip but this is growing on me.

Clarins Natural lip perfector, 06 - I am in love with this, it isn't sticky or gloopy at all it glides on my lips like a dream and makes them feel smooth and supple, although you can see I have very dry lips at the moment this made me lips feel so smooth after application and gives out such a subtle nude lip, perfect with any eye look and a very handy size for your handbag if needed for touch ups.

I hope you liked this months quite neutral make up look, I love face of the day posts so if you have posted one recently be sure to pop your link to it below in the comments.

SUMMER WEEK - NATURAL SUMMER MAKE-UP LOOK

For a normal summer look I would usually wear BB cream rather than foundation but it was date night and we was going to be out for the whole day so I didn't fancy touching up so I stuck with my trusty Rimmel 25 hour, you never need to touch up with that bad boy! It makes my skin feel and look flawless, evening out imperfections and making it look more radiant also. I start of using a base a moisturiser or primer today I used the Mac studio fix cream, it is so gorgeous it smells dreamy and sinks into the skin immediately and works perfectly for a primer as-well as a moisturiser then I applied these items in this order...

Rimmel 25 hour foundation - Classic beige
Studio finish Spf 35 concealer - NW15
Collection long lasting concealer - Light
Rimmel Stay matte powder - Translucent
W7 Brow bar
Eyeko Skinny liquid eyeliner - Navy blue
Benefit They're real
Bare Minerals bronzer - Faux tan
So Susan 8 hour cheek stain
Yves Saint Laurent Touch Eclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Pen
Maybelline Colour Sensational lipstick - Shocking coral

Are any of these items in your summer make-up bag at the moment, if not what is?

My Make-Up Collection - Bronzers.

Hello lovelies, continuing my collection from yesterday's first draw of foundations I have my bronzers today for you.

I don't really own a massive collection of bronzers to be honest but here is my little collection.

My favorites that I use pretty much every day are the Bourjois Delice de poudre bronzing powder in 52, a gorgeous scent of chocolate and loving the packaging it is my every day bronzer at the moment and I take this pretty much every where for me, a matte finish with a glow and Mac Powder blush in Sincere, I know a blusher but it is too dark to use as that and I have loved using this as a bronzer as it is matte and a gorgeous muted beige.

The W7 bronzer in the pink box looks similar to the Benefit bronzers, this is very pigmented you only need the tiniest amount on your bronzing brush or you end up looking like someone of the first series of Towie. Another bronzer I love in my collection is the Elf contouring blush and bronzer duo in St Lucia, this has been known for a dupe to a well known Nars bronzer Laguna, I don't tend to use the blusher but I do love the bronzer again very pigmented and has a touch of shimmer. The Bare minerals bronzer in faux tan is a freebie I got with my Company subscription at The clothes show in December, I have only used it a couple of times and love it, very pigmented matte it's so smooth and gives you a lovely natural tan like finish to your complexion also love the brush it comes with for the perfect contour 'light stroke fan brush'.

Good budget bronzers, MUA the square one in shade 2 only £1.00 is a great matte finish for contouring and the MUA Mosaic bronzer in shade 1 £2.50 'a fusion of colours for a sun kissed glow' according to there site, I actually haven't opened this yet, but it looks pretty. Natural Collection Sun tint bronzing powder in Sunshine, a lovely pinky peach bronzer with subtle shimmers for a gorgeous glow, perfect for the summer a lovely bronzer for just £1.99 it has lasted me a whole day before it finishes matte even with its subtle shimmer. Seventeen Instant glow shimmer brick, four layers of bronzing shimmers a bronzer and highlighter in one another bronzer perfect for the summer to give you that healthy glow only £4.99 and looks similar to the Bobbi Brown one but obviously no where near the price mark and can't compare them product wise as I haven't used the Bobbi Brown one but just looks similar. Last budget bronzer I recommend is the Rimmel one but I can't seem to find it online as it is an old product, all those people who chuck away there products to the recommendation time are probably thinking eww but I don't care aha, it doesn't break me out.

What are your go to bronzers?
