My Make-Up Collection - Bronzers.

Hello lovelies, continuing my collection from yesterday's first draw of foundations I have my bronzers today for you.

I don't really own a massive collection of bronzers to be honest but here is my little collection.

My favorites that I use pretty much every day are the Bourjois Delice de poudre bronzing powder in 52, a gorgeous scent of chocolate and loving the packaging it is my every day bronzer at the moment and I take this pretty much every where for me, a matte finish with a glow and Mac Powder blush in Sincere, I know a blusher but it is too dark to use as that and I have loved using this as a bronzer as it is matte and a gorgeous muted beige.

The W7 bronzer in the pink box looks similar to the Benefit bronzers, this is very pigmented you only need the tiniest amount on your bronzing brush or you end up looking like someone of the first series of Towie. Another bronzer I love in my collection is the Elf contouring blush and bronzer duo in St Lucia, this has been known for a dupe to a well known Nars bronzer Laguna, I don't tend to use the blusher but I do love the bronzer again very pigmented and has a touch of shimmer. The Bare minerals bronzer in faux tan is a freebie I got with my Company subscription at The clothes show in December, I have only used it a couple of times and love it, very pigmented matte it's so smooth and gives you a lovely natural tan like finish to your complexion also love the brush it comes with for the perfect contour 'light stroke fan brush'.

Good budget bronzers, MUA the square one in shade 2 only £1.00 is a great matte finish for contouring and the MUA Mosaic bronzer in shade 1 £2.50 'a fusion of colours for a sun kissed glow' according to there site, I actually haven't opened this yet, but it looks pretty. Natural Collection Sun tint bronzing powder in Sunshine, a lovely pinky peach bronzer with subtle shimmers for a gorgeous glow, perfect for the summer a lovely bronzer for just £1.99 it has lasted me a whole day before it finishes matte even with its subtle shimmer. Seventeen Instant glow shimmer brick, four layers of bronzing shimmers a bronzer and highlighter in one another bronzer perfect for the summer to give you that healthy glow only £4.99 and looks similar to the Bobbi Brown one but obviously no where near the price mark and can't compare them product wise as I haven't used the Bobbi Brown one but just looks similar. Last budget bronzer I recommend is the Rimmel one but I can't seem to find it online as it is an old product, all those people who chuck away there products to the recommendation time are probably thinking eww but I don't care aha, it doesn't break me out.

What are your go to bronzers?

My Make-Up Collection - Foundations.

Hello lovelies, I thought I would do an updated make-up collection post but go into a bit more detail and show you a bit more, by doing this I am breaking up the products I use into categories such as foundations, blushers, bronzers, lipsticks etc and doing it draw by draw as in my make up collection I use Muji storage and one draw on my dressing table. Today I am going to start of with my foundation collection the first draw, yeah there's more, whoops. I will go round clockwise till I reach the end, hope you enjoy my collection.

Draw One - Foundations.

As if this is only the first draw, I love a good base! It is just needed for me. I used to forever search for the perfect foundation or my HG (Holy Grail) I have finally found it!

High-end - Mac Studio Sculpt in NW20
Drugstore - Rimmel 25 Hour in Soft Beige

I obviously like the others also, I love trying out new products and comparing my favorite foundations to others. I had a colour match to see what Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation matched my skin but was a bad idea to go with fake tan on, my own fault I shouldn't have bought it as it is far too dark but I can use it when I fake tan I guess. I did kindly get a sample not to long ago from a lovely lady at Boots and it is a perfect match and I loved the finish it gave me. I will always prefer my Mac though. I love a good full coverage and that 'flawless finish'. My holy grail foundations do that for me. L'Oreal Infallible is quite watery to begin with but works into the skin wonderfully and gives you that air brush finish, I also love the scent to the foundation.  L'Oreal True Match is medium to full coverage, L'Oreal Lumi Magique gives you that glow you need when you have had a rubbish nights sleep and is medium to full coverage.

I haven't yet tried Rimmel's Wake Me Up my friend kindly gave me this the other day so can't wait to try it out. Obviously my holy grail up there Rimmel 25 hour but I also love Rimmel Match Perfection too it is the same coverage but the tiniest bit lighter, less heavier on the skin.

Elf HD Mattifying Cream Foundation, this is a new product to me, I never use these sort of foundations but when Elf had there 50% of offer I thought why not give it a try. It is sheer to medium coverage but could go all the way to full with another layer. It goes on very creamy then dries matte but don't worry dry skin people, I have dry areas and it doesn't effect it in anyway. Samina Pure Make-Up Mineral Foundation, I'm terrible for saying no and especially at this incidence. I was in my own world as you are when your shopping on your own in your favorite store this happened to be Debenhams. I was minding my own business and a lovely woman collared me for a 'free' make over, I say 'free' like this because they always push you into buying something unless it's just me and my weaknesses. She gave me a lovely make over but I knew when I looked at myself in her mirror it wasn't the coverage I liked and thought why am I buying this but I did. I have been using it now as a powder for all over as this is not a full coverage that I like for me, it is sheer to medium coverage. But the lady did see it is all pure and it doesn't clog all your pores up so that's always a plus I guess. Leichner Tinted Foundation, this is in the shade believe it or not porcelain, for all us pale girly's out there you would look at that and think that is no way porcelain, but it is! I don't mind this shade as I like to go a tadge darker, I like to put some colour into my face, I hate being pale. This is a very thick foundation and you only need the tiniest amount as it goes a long way. It is quite long lasting for a tinted moisturiser but I have noticed through out the day your face gets darker and darker, not a good look so bare that in mind AND it smells like granny's.

Lastly some sample foundations I have been loving, I have mentioned the Estee Lauder one above that it the little bottle with the black lid. Benefit Hello Flawless is nearly running out, sad times I got this in the 'How to look the best at everything' set in medium. It is a medium to full coverage foundation, it feels quite light on the skin and this dinky bottle is great for your make up bag for touch ups. Rimmel Stay Matte, I was dubious to try this foundation as having dry areas on my face I steer clear of mouse type foundations as I remember in high school I used to get ready at my friends house and she only used mouse foundations and I would look fine going to school but by about 10am you wouldn't even tell I had anything on. Think I was scared from mouse foundations from there but thought as I received this sample I may as well try it out! So glad I did as I love it. It is quite thick and lasts all day, goes on really creamy and dries matte. Once I get through my unhealthy collection of foundations I may have to purchase the full sized one of these.

Since doing this post I have been using a foundation from Royal Effem and it could be my new favorite! I will review it alone soon, you will all want to try it it is amazing.

What is your holy grail foundation?

A month of lipsticks, January 29th 2013.

Hello lovelies, mid week anyone itching for the weekend yet? I'm more happier as Dan is coming home Friday instead of Saturday night woo. So need to do as much blogging as I can before I get to spend the weekend with my family. I have one more lipstick post for you today then I will be posting my lipstick collection tomorrow including some lip glosses then excited to show you the last day of the month some of my lovely readers have joined in and posting about there favorite lipsticks! But for your last lipstick post...

Elf Studio Matte Lip Colour - Natural

I love Elf products as they are affordable and some great products. This however isn't amazing but it's ok. It is quite drying so you would need to prepare your lips with a lot of lip balm. However I love the colour and the packaging. The slim black pen with the colour at the bottom makes it easy to reach in your make up bag for the colour you want without taking the lid off.

If you can see here it is drying on my lips and clings to my driest patches. The colour is your lips but better colour and it does last a good few hours. You just draw it on your lips and fill in, you wouldn't need a lip liner with this colour. It is also very pigmented for such an affordable price.

I think this colour would suit anyone so versatile and great if your a neutral lover.

Do you own one of Elf's matte lip crayons?

Elf haul

Hello lovelies, i recently did a elf haul and it come in the post a couple of days ago. So i thought i would share with you all lovely people what i got...

The first thing i chose was the contouring blush and bronzing powder and i got it in St.Lucia because one of my fave Youtubers Tanya Burr said it was a dupe to a Nars blush in laguna and i absolutely love it! Such beautiful colours and it has a handy mirror in there for on the go so it is a make-up bag staple for me now.

Elf- Blush and Bronzing Powder in St.Lucia.

I then got a Baked blush in Rich rose, the pattern reminded me a little of the Macs highlighters they are very pigmented and its a beautiful rose colour with a hint of peach to add to your cheeks to give them a healthy glow. I love the domed shape to it too in the packaging.

Both very inexpensive Elf is such good value for money with pigmented products in a lovely array of colours they remind me of MUA with there prices and good products! They should get there own shop open. I would tell you the prices but at the moment they have a spring sale with 70% off!!

From Left to Right, Elf St.Lucia Blush and Bronzer then Elfs Baked blush in Rich Rose.

I then got some eye products, I have never had an eyelid primer before so thought i would try one out the reason i have never brought one before because i only wear eyeshadow a couple of times through the week and never had problems with eye shadows staying on/creasing etc but thought i would get one to try it out non the less. Its a sheer colour in natural so you wont see it through the shadow once you have applied it to your eye anyway it becomes more than less invisible! It comes with an easy wand applicator to just glide along your eyelid. It only cost me £1.50 too!! Wowzas what a bargain :0

Elf- Eyelid primer in sheer.

I then threw in my online shopping basket a Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick, it looks like the Clinique chubby sticks but for £2.50 a very small fraction of there price haha, it probably isn't as pigmented as there range but it s pigmented non the less! I got it in the shade Little Miss Thing, i loved the name as well as the colour its like a nude brown with a little touch of gold i'd say another bargain which i loved! I think this will be another make-up staple as it looks good if your in a quick rush to add a bit of colour to your eyes as all you have to do is quickly run your stick over your eyes no applicators necessary.

Elf - Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick in Little Miss Thing

I swatched these for you too..

On the left is the Jumbo stick which looks a lot more like a gold colour there i would say and to the right is the eye lid primer but as soon as you rub that into your eye you don't see a thing and it keeps your eye shadow in place lovely.

The last three products i brought was a Lip stick and a couple of brushes to add to my collection, i got a Elf Matte Lip colour in the shade 'Tea Rose' It does apply matte but it isn't drying of the lips as usually with matte lip products they do tend to dry my lips out but the product itself has Vitamin A,C and E inside which moisturizes and hydrates your lips. I love the colour! It's like a dark pinky plum colour. It's strange though because on the lips it is a more of a pink colour. I love it non the less for £2.50 too, you can't really go wrong.

Elf - Matte Lip Colour in Tea Rose

Then lastly a couple of brushes, i got the Elf Bush Brush and the Elf Professional Brow and Comb brush the only reason i got these because my friend told me how good they was for the price as i love my real techniques brushes no other brush could take over in my book but wanted a few extra brushes to add to my collection anyway and for a couple of quid why not? The blush brush is synthetic haired but so so soft! You an use it on wet or dry products. The Brown and Comb Brush is just your bog standed brush but i misplaced my old one and needed a new one and for £2 or less i thought it would be rude not to.

Hope you liked my little Elf Haul why not take advantage of there 70% off at the moment for there spring sale! They really do have some excellent products for such a little price. I will always continue getting some bargains of there website! There link is above.

Have you tried Elf products before? If so which are your faves?
