WHAT'S ON MY NAILS WEDNESDAY #18

W7 Watermelon £4.95

Hello lovelies, today I have the most gorgeous peachy pink nail polish shade, well suited to any complexion and has fab lasting power. I actually got this from Peacocks for £2.50 but online they retail at the price above, its from them sorbet collection which has a gorgeous array of colours to choose from. Simple but cute packaging, affordable, great longevity, great size and will look pretty in your collection. I'm not too sure why it's called watermelon but I think the colour is beautiful my sort of pink, very peachy toned with a slight orange tinge to it. I would recommend picking up this little gem, it wont break the bank balance and even better if you can find some in your nearest Peacocks store!

Have you tried any of the W7 sorbet collection?

SUMMER WEEK - NATURAL SUMMER MAKE-UP LOOK

For a normal summer look I would usually wear BB cream rather than foundation but it was date night and we was going to be out for the whole day so I didn't fancy touching up so I stuck with my trusty Rimmel 25 hour, you never need to touch up with that bad boy! It makes my skin feel and look flawless, evening out imperfections and making it look more radiant also. I start of using a base a moisturiser or primer today I used the Mac studio fix cream, it is so gorgeous it smells dreamy and sinks into the skin immediately and works perfectly for a primer as-well as a moisturiser then I applied these items in this order...

Rimmel 25 hour foundation - Classic beige
Studio finish Spf 35 concealer - NW15
Collection long lasting concealer - Light
Rimmel Stay matte powder - Translucent
W7 Brow bar
Eyeko Skinny liquid eyeliner - Navy blue
Benefit They're real
Bare Minerals bronzer - Faux tan
So Susan 8 hour cheek stain
Yves Saint Laurent Touch Eclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Pen
Maybelline Colour Sensational lipstick - Shocking coral

Are any of these items in your summer make-up bag at the moment, if not what is?

My Make-Up Collection - Primers and Concealers.

Hello lovelies continuing my collection, today I have for you my primers and concealer collection.
Primers -

I don't have many primers and there all diddy sizes as I have not long been a primer user, terrible beauty blogger right? I have only just learnt what a big impact a primer does have on you, especially if your on a night out or going somewhere nice for the day and you want your make up to still look great and untouched. I have already been loving Mac Prep and Prime, I love the silky texture to it and it keeps my face put through out the day and afternoon, also takes away any redness I have which is usually around the bottom of my nose, I'm seriously contemplating purchasing the full size of this or the drugstore alternative No7 Airbrush away primer, this has the same silly texture and keeps my make up put all throughout the day and evening. It also feels hydrating on my skin and works as a moisturiser.

I'm still yet to try the Monu one I have in my collection and a bit worried to use an illuminating one as I'm worried it will make me look shiny and greasy etc. But I will have a play around with it soon, I love the Pore fessional primer from Benefit, need I say more being a top seller and I noticed how much it made a difference on my large pores all over my nose it definitely minimised them and the silky texture that is not at all greasy it feels so lovely and soft on my skin.

I need some recommendations for a good primer though as I am new to the primer game, leave me your recommendations in the comment's below please lovelies.

Concealers

I'll start with my favorites, Collection lasting perfection, I have them in shades 1 and 2, I use 1 under my eyes as it instantly makes me look alert and awake and banishes dark circles. I use shade 2 to cover up blemishes, it's thick creamy consistency helps covering up any old blemish from tiny to humongous, it's cheap and very cheerful. My other favorite is a recent purchase, Mac Studio finish spf35 concealer, also very creamy thick texture it covers up like a dream and is perfect for under my eyes, I finally found a concealer that doesn't crease under my eyes! I have hit pan on my Mally Concealer cancellation system, it is a concealer and powder in one duo, it is creamy but doesn't cake at all, it covers dark circles, blemishes and the translucent powder sets it all. I am considering re purchasing this after I'm done with the rest as I have thoroughly loved it and always get a bargain with Mally over at QVC. The No7 concealers I have are a bit too dark for me so I'm considering giving these to my mum as I am so pale and I found these quite drying on my skin for some reason. I find the Clinique Airbrush concealer works perfectly under your eyes to make your eyes look bright and bushy tailed but didn't work great covering up blemishes it also looks lovely on your brow bone. I seem to have a love and hate relationship with the Benefit Boing concealer and the Seventeen Phwoar paint concealer, there both great concealers but hit and miss for me. I wouldn't miss them compared to my Collection and Mac one at all but I do also like them. They do there job of covering up blemishes and covering my under eye circles I just don't favorite them at all. Then lastly on a budget concealers W7 Camouflage kit concealer, five shades for you to pick and choose from to get your desired shade, it isn't magnificent at covering up lots of blemishes and scaring etc but it does cover up light blemishes and red areas. It only cost me about £4 but I see this on Ebay and amazon for under £2, it's worth adding to your collection, I would suggest this to younger girls or girls who don't need that much concealer as it is great to add to your make up collection and wont break your bank balance aswell as not breaking the bank we have MUA Cover and Conceal wand, again works great for under your eyes but not brilliant at covering blemishes, only £1.50 though it lasts a while for the small price tag you can't really expect miracles.

What are your favorite primers and concealers, I'd love to know in the comments below.

My Make-Up Collection - Bronzers.

Hello lovelies, continuing my collection from yesterday's first draw of foundations I have my bronzers today for you.

I don't really own a massive collection of bronzers to be honest but here is my little collection.

My favorites that I use pretty much every day are the Bourjois Delice de poudre bronzing powder in 52, a gorgeous scent of chocolate and loving the packaging it is my every day bronzer at the moment and I take this pretty much every where for me, a matte finish with a glow and Mac Powder blush in Sincere, I know a blusher but it is too dark to use as that and I have loved using this as a bronzer as it is matte and a gorgeous muted beige.

The W7 bronzer in the pink box looks similar to the Benefit bronzers, this is very pigmented you only need the tiniest amount on your bronzing brush or you end up looking like someone of the first series of Towie. Another bronzer I love in my collection is the Elf contouring blush and bronzer duo in St Lucia, this has been known for a dupe to a well known Nars bronzer Laguna, I don't tend to use the blusher but I do love the bronzer again very pigmented and has a touch of shimmer. The Bare minerals bronzer in faux tan is a freebie I got with my Company subscription at The clothes show in December, I have only used it a couple of times and love it, very pigmented matte it's so smooth and gives you a lovely natural tan like finish to your complexion also love the brush it comes with for the perfect contour 'light stroke fan brush'.

Good budget bronzers, MUA the square one in shade 2 only £1.00 is a great matte finish for contouring and the MUA Mosaic bronzer in shade 1 £2.50 'a fusion of colours for a sun kissed glow' according to there site, I actually haven't opened this yet, but it looks pretty. Natural Collection Sun tint bronzing powder in Sunshine, a lovely pinky peach bronzer with subtle shimmers for a gorgeous glow, perfect for the summer a lovely bronzer for just £1.99 it has lasted me a whole day before it finishes matte even with its subtle shimmer. Seventeen Instant glow shimmer brick, four layers of bronzing shimmers a bronzer and highlighter in one another bronzer perfect for the summer to give you that healthy glow only £4.99 and looks similar to the Bobbi Brown one but obviously no where near the price mark and can't compare them product wise as I haven't used the Bobbi Brown one but just looks similar. Last budget bronzer I recommend is the Rimmel one but I can't seem to find it online as it is an old product, all those people who chuck away there products to the recommendation time are probably thinking eww but I don't care aha, it doesn't break me out.

What are your go to bronzers?

A month of lipsticks, January 14th 2013.

Hello lovelies, today I have for you a lipstick that all those red lovers out there will love I'm sure!

W7 - Pillar Box

Super red, post box red! Defiantly the reddest lipstick in my collection. I think personally you would need a lip liner with this lipstick as it gets everywhere. I'm not a lip liner wearer though and still not brave to wear a red this bright as much as I would wear a really bright purple strange I know. But that's just me, for those who do love there bright reds though this is for you I'm sure of it!

I was lucky enough to get this at a bloggers event in Birmingham last year from a lucky dip. I am hoping to brave it and wear this one night at the weekend when the fellas back for a night out. This did stay put on my lips a good few hours staining them which I like as I love a lipstick with good staying power. A satin finish with a hint of glossyness. It feels very nourishing on the lips with sweet smells of vanilla and a hint of coconut!

W7 lipsticks are super cheap for there quality, I can't actually find this lipstick anywhere online sorry but I'm sure they do similar ones.

Do you own a W7 lipstick?

Favorite Christmas Sparkly Nails.

Hello lovelies, today I have my favorite sparkly/glitzy nails for you with a sneaky peak of a Christmas nail art I have in store for you all.

Christmas to me screams glitter, sparkles and pretty things. I do also love my plums, reds, silvers, golds etc but these are my favorite sparkly numbers. I have some Christmas Nail art tutorials coming up so keep your eyes peeled.

Barry M - Red Glitter; A gorgeous opaque red glittery polish that gets me right in the festive mood. It is so pretty and sparkly and you literally only need one coat but if that's not enough then go over with another coat. The lasting power is brilliant, that great its a bugger to come off! Like all glitter polishes.

Rimmel - Your Majesty; An opaque silver that isn't all that glittery but it shimmers like no other. You only need one coat of this too to become opaque but that's to your own preference.

OPI - Happy Anniversary; This colour is my favorite I think of the glitters, it is so stunning! Would look gorgeous for a wedding or christening. This is gorgeous on its own but even more outstanding on top of neutral shade.

Maybelline Brocades In Knitted Gold; Another gorgeous polish that I have been loving, this isn't that opaque alone but a couple of layers and it is but I like this on top of a normal gold shade. It is super shiny and glitzy a very girly number which would rock at a party.

W7 - First Class; A gorgeous sparkly gold that would suit all ages to give your nails a sparkly elegant touch.

Rimmel - Disco Ball & Miss Sporty - Sparkle touch; These two polishes are exactly the same! Sparkly particles of blue, silver and purple looks gorgeous on top of any colour base.

The Snowflake nail is a sneaky preview of one of my Christmas nail tutorials. I don't just wear glittery polishes at Christmas I adore a touch of sparkles on my finger tips but just thought I would show with you some of my favorites if you was looking to sparkle and shine at a Christmas party coming up. Do you like a bit of glitter around Christmas time? What are your favorite sparkly numbers?
