MUMMY MONDAY | BOYS RULE

STAR WARS T-SHIRT - ASDA*
JEANS - ASDA*
FISHBONE SHOES - ASDA*

Hello lovelies, the sun is still making appearance, it's been lovely not to have so much 'april showers' and lots of lovely sunshine. Oscar was very kindly given lots of new clothes from Asda recently so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to show them off in the sun. I am in love with these jeans, they look super comfy on him, stylish and although there 'tapered' jeans they look like skinny jeans, really stylish yet practical, plenty of room to make mischief in.

I'm not one for Star Wars but I loved the 'Boys Rule' T-shirt, I think he suits the colour really well too and this is casual yet still quite smart and will go with a lot of different bottoms, then lastly the shoes. These pumps are really sturdy for the affordable price tag, they look like they will last him a long while. He loved this outfit and was making lots of poses for me, if only you could see half of them aha. I think Asda have such a great range of clothes for kids, they are super affordable and there clothes wash well, the only thing that has put me of cheaper clothing in the past is it not washing well but the quality of these clothes are fantastic and will last a while, I would definitely recommend shopping here especially when kids grow so fast you can afford to buy a lot of tops from £2 - £8 each!

Where do you tend to shop for your little ones?

CLINIQUE | CHUBBY STICKS GALORE

Hello lovelies, my excitement when these come through the door was unbelievable, I have wanted to try a chubby stick for I don't know how long. The only ones I own are the little samplers from Glamour magazine last month, but these are beautful, perfect for summer and come in some gorgeous shades.

A really pretty baby pink shade, they go on the lips so easily with the pen like applicator and feel nourishing as soon as they are on, they bring out your natural tone so every one will look different with this on there lips, I found when I first applied it there was no colour then after a few minutes you could see the colour produce, it is so subtle yet so pretty and perfect for every day wear.

A coral just of red shade, as said above very moisturising and helping to bring out your natural tone to your lips yet make those lips really do pop and perfect for work or just to add some colour to your face if your having a make up free day, the only thing I am not too keen on with these baby tints are the scent, that is the only con I can think of really. I am really liking these lip balms but I don't think I could pay £17.00 for them, there great if you love a sheer coverage but when I like to splash out on a lip product I like to splash out on colour but that's just personal preference.

Clinique Chubby Stick cheek colour balm - 02 robust rhubarb £19.00*

I am a massive fan of cream blushers as I find them super easy to use and perfect if you're in a rush or traveling. This is an easy proof blusher with a swivel mechanism like the baby tints meaning no waste on sharpening and you just have to dab it on your desired area. I have applied this to my cheeks as it isn't too daring of a shade, it is the most perfect cheek color to make you look a bit flushed and glowing its a pinky coral shade. It is really natural looking but you could obviously keep re-applying to your preference, I prefer to just apply a little to show some colour to look healthy and not my normal ill pale looking self aha. I adore this and will definitely be adding to my collection I have my eye on roly poly rosy.

Has this made you want to go out and go chubby stick mad, what are your thoughts?

Harvey Nichols, Stella McCartney Perfume Review*

Hello lovelies, when I had an email pop up on my gmail last week I was very excited as it said perfume. Who doesn't love there perfume?

I was contacted by an agency that work with Harvey Nichols and asked if I'd love to try out a perfume from there Stella McCartney Print collection*. If you would like to view Stella's gorgeous collection on Harvey Nichols you can do HERE. I was able to choose from three different designs in colours from blue, yellow to a cream neutral shade. I went with the neutral and it is in a snake skin pattern. They are limited edition and and inspired by the Falabella bag from Stella's SS13 collection. Shown here...

After wearing the perfume and loving it and the packaging I now need the bag to match right? But back to the perfume.

I received the perfume all boxed up beautifully in Harvey Nichols tissue paper very neatly wrapped. Then Inside the box I got a Harvey Nichols bag which I was cooing over. Crisp white with the gold detailing of the logo with lovely ribbon handles.

Then inside the bag I received the perfume enclosed in a beautiful cream box.

To then open to the gorgeous packaging of the perfume and the gorgeous scented notes occurring under the tip of my nose.

Before I get to the scents how gorgeous is the packaging? Imagine this in the shades blue or yellow if nude doesn't take your fancy. I love how Stella is at the top of the lid in little dots. It is a 30ml sized perfume so not too big or not too small to fit in any handbag for on the go or just to display on your beauty cabinet along with your other favorites. What I do love about the packaging is that it is handbag safe, to not leak all over your contents like some previous perfume of mine has! With the clasp lid that clicks into place you know your not going to waste any product it is safe in its gorgeous little container.

Now the aroma, it is like a opening a book to the start middle and end. You get a whiff of floral the deep rose scent to start with it then goes into woody aroma then finishes with vibrant fruity notes. It is very feminine, modern and classy. I think this would suit all ages and I had so many compliments from wearing this the first day I tried it. I can smell the perfume straight away once sprayed onto me then I can't but that means it is a good perfume and suited to your skin if that happens. Apparently according to a lovely customer that came into my store the other day aha. I do love it though. I would defiantly re purchase this once I have ran out and my boyfriend also complimented me on it and said it was his new favorite! I am a massive lover of Thierry Mugler's Alien and Jimmy Choo it has similar notes with a floral edge. I am not usually a lover of the Rose scent but this has turned me! The rose isn't that strong as it has mandarin notes and amber also. Even if I didn't like the scent I absolutely adore the packaging and looks beautiful on my dressing table amongst my other 30 perfumes! But a girl can never have too many perfumes. Luckily I do love the scent though and will be going on my Christmas list if I run out before.

If you want to make heads turn and make your nose happy I would highly recommend going to your nearest Harvey Nichols counter and getting a sample of this to whiff if you love the scents I have noted. I am sorry if it makes you want to buy it there and then though I can not be held responsible for your actions. It is priced at £38.00 and well worth it in my opinion.

Have you tried this perfume or bought this yourself? I'd love to hear your thoughts if it is one of your favorites or on your wishlist.

Again I am very grateful for the opportunity to get sent beautiful things to sample to thank you very much.
