May glossybox

Hello lovelies,
Sorry again for lack of posts been super busy lately but thought i would share with you the May glossy box. They celebrated there 2nd birthday. I loved this box just as much as last months box again really been satisfied this year with all of there boxes. They have upped there game in my eyes.

First up Jelly Pong Pong - Fairy Lashes Mascara
I did love this mascara to start with as it lengthened my lashes lovely and made them really thick but as i kept re-applying the product on my lashes they started clumping and there's nothing worse than spider leg looking mascara! I thought the packaging was pretty though.

Caudalie - Divine Oil

'The Beauty Elixir for your body, face and hair, the Divine Oil offers everything you need to make your skin positively exquisite.  Divine Oil is a dry oil that is both light and hydrating; its unique blend of grape, hibiscus, sesame and argan oils are immediately absorbed into the skin with a non-greasy finish. ' I am absolutely loving this product, i will be re-purchasing this as soon as i run out! As my skin is dry to normal  this as added hydration to my skin and made it look and feel so refreshed! It also smells beautiful and a little goes a really long way.

Beautiful movement cosmetics - prime and create mixing medium

'A true hero product which compliments our range of loose minerals. When combined with mineral powders and pigments, this amazingly versatile product will allow you to create dozens of different make up finishes.  Use under your foundation as a matt finish primer or mix with loose or compact powders to create many different products.
Mix with mineral foundation powder for a long lasting airbrush finish or with mineral concealer for heavy duty coverage. '  I have been using this purely just as a primer and it has been fantastic! You only need a tiny bit too.

Bellapiere - Bellapierre Super Lip Gloss

I loved the colour i received in this lip gloss 'vanilla pink' and i like the packaging too. I also like that its ingredients include vitamin e, jojoba and avocado all nourishing. It does feel soft on your lips and lasted quite abit. I don't know if i would repurchase at £12.99 though a bit pricey for a lip gloss after never hearing of the brand. But non the less was a lovely product.

L'occitane En Provence - Angelica hydration cream

'Made with organic angelica from the Drôme region of France, the fresh and silky-smooth Angelica Hydration Cream deeply moisturises and revitalises the skin. L'OCCITANE's patented angelica complex reinforces natural skin hydration by stimulating aquaporines, improves skin elasticity and protects from free radicals. Skin is plumped, smoothed and radiant.' It also says ideal for normal to dry skin. I have only used this once so can't really write a review to see if it made any changes as i like to test a product over a few days to see any noticeable changes etc. But it did leave my skin feeling nourished and soft.

We then kindly of glossy box got a little extra treat, some cute mini nail files.

These have already made a permanent home in my handbag! People are always asking me on the train, out an about etc for a file! Now i can never say no. There super cute and loving the pink! Thank you glossy box and happy birthday!

Again happy with this months box already excited for next months box.

Did you enjoy this box? Have you not already subscribed?

Glossy Box

Would you rather? #TAG

Hello lovelies,
Its tag time. I love doing these posts, i saw this on the lovely Gemma's blog which you can read here; http://www.missmakeupmagpie.co.uk . Would you rather...

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
An easy one for me, i would rather lose all my pallettes and eyeshadows as you can use some lipsticks as eye shadow, or eyeliners if you rub them in well enough or even liquid eyeliners. I always tend to have black wet eyeliner on the top of my eye lid anyway so i would be happy with that, as i couldn't live without my mascara!

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I would have to say chop it all off because imagine all those split ends? It would be mayhem! The way i love to dye my hair too my hair would be in awful condition! Plus if you shaved it all off it will grow back anyway. My hair could probably do with a crop 1! Start a fresh, i would love to go back to my natural hair colour just wish you could chop it all of and it all have grown back by the morning, If only. Plus how fun would it be to try out different wigs?

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

This is a tough one for me because i love both! But if i had to chose just one then it would be pink i think. As i have quite a pale complexion and not much colour to my cheeks and it just pops a rosy shine to my cheeks and as i am loving revlons cream blushes at the minute you can't go wrong with those, you can't over do it so to speak. So pink for me please.

If you had £1000 to spend, Would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Well this is easy for me at the minute as i am battling with my weight after having a baby it depresses me to clothes shop so i haven't really spent a huge amount on clothes since being a mum so i would have to say makeup! Imagine £1000 on makeup, id be in heaven. I would buy so many beautiful things i couldn't afford now. Now this question has depressed me thinking of all the amazing things i could get!! Selfridges would be very pleased.

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

Lipstick as eyeliner defo! As lipsticks come in such an array of beautiful colours and there isn't a huge amount of different eyeliner's a few yes but more choice in lipstick colours and you could use certain makeup brushes to apply the lipstick colour on your lids. Imagine scribbling eyeliner on your lips? I don't think that would be pleasant.

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

I'd have to say MAC not only because i haven't ever shopped at Sephora but MAC just can't do you wrong really. You have everything you need for any look. Pigments, blushes, foundation etc for any type of look, day to night. There products are just so beautiful and flawless too!

Would you rather only use one eye shadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?

One eye shadow i think as i think a lip colour can change your whole face! Plus i would be happy to have just a nude or creamy beige eye colour everyday because you could just have that in the day and apply some eyeliner at night to spruce it up abit. I love my lipsticks and would feel strange just wearing the same shade every day!

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

I would wear summer clothes in the winter as you may get abit hot and stuffy wearing jumpers, thick tights and ear muffs in the hot weather! Plus funny stares. Yes you would probably get funny stares wearing summer clothes in winter too but you could always wear a coat if your cold! Would probably cheer you up too wearing a summery dress in the dull cold weather.
Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?

I would have to say bright nails as i think they look nicer on me than dark colours as i am pale dark nail varnish tends to make me look even more paler! Not a good look looking like a corpse. Plus i have to agree with gemma on her tag i don't see why seasons should dictate the nail colours you wear? I wear all sorts of colours all different times of the year even if i do tend to follow the crowd and wear a lot of pastels in the spring!

Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
I feel this is the same question as 'Would you rather only use one eye shadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?' So again i would give up my eye shadow!

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?

Messy bun every time as i always feel a little 'young like' in a pony tail i don't know why i just do! Plus i think messy buns just look better and you can dress it up abit better than a pony tail.

Would your rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?

An easy one for me as i did used to love lip glosses before i got into my lipsticks and i have gone of lip glosses abit now. I don't like the sticky texture anymore and leaving it behind when your eating something so i would rather never use lip gloss again! I love having different nail colours on my nails and experimenting with different styles and nail art.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? or sharpie them in everyday?
I wouldn't like to sharpie on eyebrows! Oh em gee i'm not a fan of a 'scouse brow' i like mine to look quite natural. So i would have shave them off for them to grow back again and use something in the mean while. There are a lot of products you can use these days anyway some people are even tattooing them on.

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Although i love my nail polish and having different shades on my nails i could not live without my makeup supply! I would be lost. Imagine going out on a night out with your girlies all glammed up and you rock up with your break outs on show and dull looking complexion (unless your lucky to have a perfect face). So i would give up nail polish any day if it meant keeping my lifeline! Haha.

Hope you enjoyed my answers and would love to see if you have done this tag if so comment below!

Wonderful Wednesday.

Hello lovelies,
Half way through the week and i thought why not pamper myself luxury style tonight! As usually my boyfriend plays football Wednesday nights and Oscar goes to bed at 7 so i have  few hours of just me time! I think everyone should have at least one day of the week to have some 'me time' and relax, pamper yourself and just unwind. How ever you like to do it. My ideal 'me time' would consist of a nice hot bubbly bath preferably a lush one! With some Yankee candles lit at the side.

Lush - Comfortor
Yankee Candles - Summer Scoop & Blissful Autumn

I then cleanse and tone my skin at the minute i am using some spot battling ones to help my unusual break out's! I do get these from time to time but it's so annoying as my skin is usually so clear then when i do get a break out it isn't just one there every where. God Damn spots! So i have been trying out Garnier's range.

Yankee Candles, Bioderma, Garnier - Spot Stress Control daily scrub, Garnier - Spot stress control cleanser 3 in 1, Face mask, Radial - Snake Serum, Nuxe face, body and hair oil, Monu - Moisturiser, Monu -eye gel and  Garnier - Intensive 7 day body moisturiser.

After i have cleansed and toned my skin when i'm treating my self to 'me time' i like to try different face masks tonight i tried Montagne Jeunesse - Green Tea Peel off mask.

Excuse my non make up face state.

You can't really tell i have a face mask on in the picture but i have trust me, it's like one of those see through ones. I'm not really a fan of the peel of masks but i know green tea is good for your insides so must be good for your outside too right? It did leave my skin feeling uber soft! Which was ready for me to try out a sample i have had hoarded away for a few weeks the Radial Snake serum. I was abit dubious to try this from the name but as soon as it touched my skin it just glided all over lovely! It says it helps with wrinkles i haven't noticed any wrinkles yet but why not try something new anyway. Also the nuxe is a sample from an old beauty box and this is also divine! I am already thinking of repurchasing this in a bigger bottle once i'm all out of this! Although such a tiny bit goes a really long way! It smells completely fine and feels so nice on your skin! I wouldn't recommend this if you have oily skin but i have dry/normal skin and it made my skin feel beautiful.
I then used my Monu collagen cream/moisturiser and this just soaks into your face like a dream, also recommend this if you have dry skin its like a watering can for a plant. It just makes your skin feel so replenished and plumped. Then followed of by the Monu eye gel. Since being a mum and going to bed late and waking up early-ish my under eye bags are getting horrendous! I keep telling myself to have an early night but it never happens.

Once i have pampered all my face i dry of everywhere else then moisture my body! If your anything like me and quite lazy with this bit in your normal routine this is the best thing you could ever buy! It usually comes in a green packaging but i love a pump so i moved it into a home made pump solution.

Garnier - Intensive 7 days Nourishing Lotion
You only have to moisturise once a week if your lazy like me in this department. How good is that?! It smells amazing of the cocoa butter and it isn't to sticky either you only need a small amount to cover different parts of your body.

Once i have pampered everywhere i like to do my nails, that includes toe nails too can't miss them out especially now summers coming. You don't want nasty chipped toe nails in your sandals. So i did myself a little mani and pedi.

Was a tough choice

My favorite glossy box i use to store my nail bits and bobs

Final decision for the nails was Barry M's Papaya and Blueberry

Also forgot to add this into the collection was a last minute thing.

Here is the final results...

Getting creative with polka dots.

Orange disco?

Hope you liked my pamper night lovelies and vow to yourselves ladies to have at least one night a week to pamper YOURSELF. Also if you would like to no anything about these products in more detail don't be afraid to ask :) x

Diary of a NON thigh gap girl.

Hello my lovelies,
Thought i would share with you all what i get up to on a Tuesday night, it's not all that great but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do! Since having a baby 8 months ago now i have pretty much let myself go on the weight side of things! I could blame Oscar for my weight but he didn't force cream cakes, take aways etc down my neck whilst he was in my womb. Whilst i was pregnant i thought 'I'm fat now so i may as well eat what i like' wish i knew the consequences then! I awfully put on over 3 stone whilst pregnant! It's embarrassing, but i loved my food. So now i'm doing something about it. So I have started Weight Watchers after seeing Gregg Wallace of 'Master Chef' supposedly loosing all his weight from joining. Plus there was an offer on for £12.95 for the month which would mean i would get more more or less two weeks free!

I have tried Slimming world but i was too naughty on it, i like the points in weight watchers which means you have to restrict yourself a little which is a good thing so you know what you have to play with. Especially if you plan your meals in advance! If you get the monthly subscription to weight watchers you get the app on your phone which is super easy to use and has helped me track all my points.

I have only been there a week and lost 3lbs! I ate so much fruit and veg in my first week of weight watchers then i think i ever have. I need to start exercising more now and will hopefully drop more lbs off! If your on weight watchers they have lots of there own brand foods for cheaper in Iceland and Pound shops all around. I love that most of there snacks are only 2 points! I just hope this gets me on the road to a fitter me recovery! One of my friends has also joined with me this week so we can spur each other on. A great way to exercise is to get friends involved i think. Go on long walks together or a bike ride or even go to some exercise classes like step classes, zumba or swimming. I shall be doing just a little post every Tuesday from now on just to show you all my progress. I shall be a MILF!

To keep me on track with my exercising i brought the pedometer today which counts all your steps and after a certain amount of steps you burn of you get a pro point back!

They also do the yummiest sweets for just 2 points for the WHOLE packet.

All in all it doesn't matter what shape you are, size, colour, height or hair colour...
If your comfortable as you are that's all that matters if your happy and have confidence then it doesn't matter about anyone else. Everybody is different in there own way's if we wasn't the world would be a pretty boring place! Wouldn't it? I'm not so bothered about the number on the scales i just want to feel good about myself look good in the mirror and go from a size 14/16 to a healthy 12! Never let anyone get you down about your weight though if your happy with the skin your in SOD the rest.

Hope you enjoyed this post and it didn't bore you all. Is anyone else in the blogosphere trying to loose weight, joined a 'fat club'? I would love to hear.
Thankyou

Recent Beauty Buys

Hello lovelies,
Since being a mum i haven't been that much bothered about Mondays anymore every day pretty much feels the same on maternity leave! But i know some of you dread the M word. Why don't you change Monday into a day that you could like, by having a nice relaxing bath after work and pamper yourself a little or treat yourself? Just an idea :) Anyway i thought i would show you what i have brought over the past week or so.

As you can see i have mostly been buying face products, i have been addicted to buying lipstick's lately! I just seem to want every colour available. I also brought a couple new nail varnishes. Here are some more pictures and what i think of my purchases...

Botanics - Soothing eye make up remover all bright.

I'll be completely honest i invested in this because i saw it in one of 'viviannadoesmakeup' youtube videos, i didn't really need it as my Bioderma takes all my make up off but i thought i would give it ago especially if i wear some heavy eye make up on a night out or special occasion. It also says it even removes water proof make up for any skin type, it soothes the eye area and conditions your lashes so what could go wrong? It is an oily phase which should be shaken vigorously to activate the pop onto a cotton wool pad and gently swoop over your eyelids.

New lipsticks to add to my never ending collection, i just can't stop buying them! You can never have too much thought right? From left to right,
Revlon Colour Stay - High Heels
I loved the name to this lippy aswell as the colour, its a sheer pink that would go with any look! Any outfit. Just gives a little bit of colour to your lips not being too much or not enough a nice girly baby pink. It comes in lovely packaging i love how you can see the colour through the see through lid. It also clicks when you twist the bottom for more product to come out.
Revlon Lip Butter - Creme Brulee
I love the formula of these lip butter it feels like its nourishing your lips! There's nothing worse than a drying lipstick.  I would say this colour is a peachy nude and a very natural lip colour. Again would go with any look i also love the packaging of the product it looks like candy!
Maybeline Colour Sensational - 910 Shocking Coral
By the name of the lipstick you would think WOW shock! It really is a daring pinky, reddy, orangey shade i have started being abit more braver with colours seeing as its nearly summer would look lovely with a subtle eye make up and a beautiful summer dress. I think the colour is absolutely gorgeous! Lovely finish too.

A couple foundations, the first one being a new one.

MUA Undress Your Skin - Porcelain
I heard good things about this foundation so was excited to jump on the bandwagon but i'm sadly disappointed. I can only describe it as being to wet? I couldn't really work with it and as i'm fair skinned i brought the lightest shade and it completely washed me out. Maybe if i got a darker shade it would have looked abit better but i'm not too sure. It just didn't tick my boxes. Also because it is illuminating it showed my break outs tremendously! So a defo no no for me. Sorry MUA you don't usually let me down.

Rimmel Lasting Finish - 303 True Nude
This is one of my favorite foundations! The coverage is just fantastic, covers up my nasty bits on my face and gives me a healthy dewy look. I always go from two different shades 'true nude' and 'classic beige' depending on if i have fake tan on or not! I don't no if it is 25 hour stay as i have never left my foundation on that long but it defonately lasts me all through the day. I would recommend this product if you like a good full coverage like me.

MUA Cover And Conceal - Fair

A new concealer to try out, i haven't used this on my face yet but it does come out quite thick so hopefully it will be good coverage to hide blemishes and dark under bags! Its from there new face range and i'm always one for trying something new. So looking forward to seeing how this works its magic.

Revlon Photo Ready - Coral Reef

I was actually a cream blush virgin till i brought this the other day! I am absolutely loving it too! It is so easy to apply you can't go wrong with it. You can use your fingers if your in a rush or on the go or i use my real techniques buffing brush and it goes on lovely. It is a pinky orange shade that gives a lovely flush of colour to your cheeks. I can't believe i had never used one before i want one in every shade now. From what i have seen of the Revlon ones though they only have a couple of shades so i am going to have to window shop at some other brands. I would really recommend this colour to anyone i think i would suit every skin colour and would make your cheeks look cheery and beautiful.

Boots - Facial Exfoliating Sponge

I brought this on a whim really as it was next to the botanics eye make up remover just to test it out. I haven't used it yet but curious to see if my skin will benefit in any way from it.

And lastly a couple of nail varnishes. From left to right,
MUA - Lush Lilac
MUA and there sneaky sneaky Essie look a like bottles it doesn't bother me but there's been abit of whowar about it! Does it really matter? There not exact copys? Just a little similar, i do think this colour is identical to Essie's Lilacism but in no way shame or form as good quality. The colour is a beautiful lilac and fab for spring and summer but it chipped awfully after just a day or two! It doesn't bother me as much as i enjoy painting my nails often but just something to bear in mind.

MUA - Ameretto Crush
Again a beautiful shade but chipped just after a day or two. Its a lovely colour though. What do you expect for a £1 though? Such good value be rude not to.

Maybeline Colour Show - Polka Dots
I love this nail varnish! A great way to funk up your nails on any shade! This at just £2.99 to a dupe i think for Loreals Confetti at £6.99 but currently on offer for £4.99 but Maybeline do it just as good. I have wanted this for abit and glad i have it now. This is a NOTD i did with my MUA- Ameretto Crush And Maybeline's - Polka dots...

Hope you liked my little haul and aren't having too much of a bad monday!
If you want to ask about any of these products feel free.
