What's On My Nails Wednesday #6

Hello lovelies, Wednesday is here so time for another nail polish, I am loving this shade and will find it hard to remove this for next weeks womnw.

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine - Papaya

Firstly I adore all the Barry M Gelly polishes but this one has to be in my top 3, it is a gorgeous coral and actually gives my pasty white hands some colour to them. This would look beautiful on tanned skin or pale, it instantly makes me smile seeing it on my hands, as it is such a bright happy colour. The gelly polishes are easy and quick to go with one coat but for a more opaque look I like to apply two coats, it finishes with an extra glossy shine and gives you the shellac look. If you paint them nicely it will look like you've been to the salon, I'd recommend these to anyone as they do last a good few days too.

Have you tried the Barry M Gelly's?

What I've been loving this month...

Hello lovelies, I don't know if I've done one of these on my blog yet but this is what I have been loving this month...

Garnier - Ultimate Blends Conditioner, The nourishing repairer with avocado & shea butter.
I have only been using this a couple of weeks and already in love with it, it makes my hair feel amazing and does for the next couple of days afterwards also. It smells divine and I really think it is repairing my hair.

Mac - Mineralize skin finish, Stereo Rose.
Although I haven't had this that long this is also a new favorite of mine, it is just so beautiful and really adds a touch of elegance and shine to your face you can see my full review of this product HERE.

Bourjois - Rouge Edition Velvet Matte Lipstick, Peach Club.
Another new favorite that I think will be for a while is these beauty's, Very pigmented and last hours on end even through eating and drinking, this gorgeous coral pink toned lipstick is what I have been wearing nearly every day recently, perfect for day or night and I have reviewed this also HERE.

Soap & Glory - Sugar Crush Fresh and Foamy Body Wash.
I have so many body wash, shower gels to choose from in my bathroom it is a task to choose but this is the one I reach for lately. It smells delicious, citrusy and fresh that really wakes you up in the morning. I love Soap&Glory packaging and I don't think I have tried one product I don't like yet but this is my favorite shower wash currently.

Pai - Camellia & Rose Gentle hydrating cleaner*.
I'm not going to say too much about this product as I have a full review of it coming soon as I was lucky enough to be chosen to do the #Paichallenge. But I am already thinking of getting another full sized bottle, it is pretty amazing.

Bare Minerals - Matte Bronzer, Faux Tan.
I have been loving this bronzer for not only bronzing but for contouring also, the perfect matte bronzer to do this with, you can make this as subtle or as high coverage as you like depending on your heavy hand an application skills. Even though I have very light skin I don't find this 'dirty' looking or grubby on my face I think it gives a gorgeous sun glow kissed effect.

Espa - Optimal Skin Pro Serum*.
This serum is just lovely, it has helped clear my skin up, its very moisturising and full of natural oils. It has a silky smooth texture and sinks into your skin like a dream, I have reviewed this HERE.

Maybelline - The Colossal Volume Effect Mascara, Black.
I wear this mascara every day at the minute, when I have make up on of course, it gives you natural looking lashes but with more definition, length and volume. It doesn't clump and very affordable I will be for ever repurchasing this beauty.

So Susan - 8 Hour Cheek Stain.
You will see my thoughts on this in the latest 'haveyoudiscovered' post but since I purchased this at the Clothes Show Live back in December I have completely converted to cream blushers and can't remember the last time I used a powder blush, I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Paco Rabanne - Lady Million Eau Da Parfum.*
I have been wearing this non stop this month, I love the packaging and it smells heavenly, it is very fresh and floral smelling, ultra feminine and glamorous with some stronger notes of amber and honey.

My first Birchbox - April

Hello lovelies if you read my post about my last Glossy box you will know that I was getting a Birch box and it came pretty much in the next couple of days. I am so pleased with what was in side would you like to see?

April Birch Box

Propercorn Popcorn - Sweet and Salty 90p

I am not a fan of salty popcorn at all but both together isn't too bad, my boyfriend loved these! What is good also if you are a fussy popcorn eater like me you can see the difference between the two flavors as the sweet pieces have a covering on them so I took a couple out and gave my other half the rest he is a massive salty popcorn lover, the best bit as well is they are so tasty you wouldn't think there under 40 cals!

Colour Club Galas gems collection - Breakfast At... £15 for 4

This is a gorgeous emerald pearly shine nail polish that instantly reminds me of mermaids tales, not that I've ever seen one before but that's how I imagine them to look. I think this would look gorgeous on all skin tones and the other colours in there collection are just as beautiful so well worth the £15 price tag and a bit of a bargain if you ask me.

Laura Mercier Body Souffle Body Creme - Ambre Vanille £44.50

I am so lazy when it comes to moisturising all over my body but this may convert me! As it smells so delicious I look forward to putting this on at night time now or even in the day for an added scent. The hefty price tag is a bit off putting but if I added up all the body moisturisers I have which I don't use I could easily sell them and I would get over £60 which would pay for this! This may have to go on my birthday or Christmas wish list in the mean while, you have to go to your nearest counter for a whiff if you love vanilla scents.

Beauty Protector Protect and Detangle £15

I haven't used this product yet but I do love a leave in conditioner, I love how this is a handy little bottle too if you're going away for the weekend and it smells lovely also, I adore the packaging too.

The Balm Cosmetics How 'Bout Them Apples - Apple Pie £26

Well hello there topless hunks, they do catch your eye don't they? Not sure how the other half will feel about me carrying these hunks around with me in my make up bag but what's better than a cute little blush/lip combo with some eye candy to go with it, The Balm have it all. I would definitely buy this palette all the colour are right up my street, very pigmented and as I said before this is great for popping in your make up bag. Apple pie is a beautiful pinky red blusher that really compliments my skin tone and gives me a gorgeous flush of colour to my cheeks, it may even be my new favorite for Spring and Summer.

One Love organics skin savior waterless beauty balm £30

I can not wait to use this it smells amazing, think citrus it feels lovely too. It feels quite similar to the Body Shop cleanser but softer if that's possible. I love a balm cleanser but this can also be used for a moisturiser and I imagine this to be very moisturising. I will do a review of this once I have used it a few times.

I absoltley adore my first box and can't wait for next months! Do you subscribe to Birch box?

Mummy Monday - Oscars OOTD Stripes & Sandals.

Hello lovelies, with the weather being a bit warmer and short friendly I needed to get Oscar a cute pair of sandals, we was all out playing in the garden in his new shoes so I thought I'd take the opportunity and take some snaps of him.

Stripes & Sandals

T-SHIRT - NEXT
SHORTS - NEXT
SANDALS - NEXT

I promise this isn't sponsored aha or PR samples, I just love Next clothes and these are perfect for a warm Spring and Summer. The sandals are really easy for him to walk in and look comfy, the shorts have a stretchy waist and I got the t-shirt in a size bigger for extra room and will last him through this year. Oscars wardrobe is seriously double the size of mine and Dan's put together but I can't help but keep buying, everything is just adorable! I never bothered splashing out on shoes I never saw the point in that before he could walk but now he can I'm lethal, he will soon have more shoes than me.

Hope you liked his little OOTD, he's adorable bless him.

Have you discovered? - Blush

Hello lovelies, I haven't done this series for a couple of weeks and completely forgot about last weeks as I have been loving a Bare Minerals bronzer but it is exactly the same as Rebecca's. I am excited to show you about this blusher as I don't hear the brand So Susan around a lot at all.

So Susan - 8 Hour cheek stain

The only annoying thing about this product is it hasn't got a shade name, it is the only one they do also. It is such a beautiful blusher though, a gel like form in a retractable stick that gives you moisture as well as a healthy glow. It is a pinky red and just gives your cheeks that lovely flush of colour it needs. I like to used my Real Techniques buffing brush to dab onto my cheeks and blend it out, but if you're out on the go this is perfect as you can just dab it on with the stick and blend in with your fingers, absolutely perfect if your on the go. It has got quite a big price tag at £25.00 but it will last you ages and it lasts 8 hours on your cheeks before fading. I was luckily enough to pick this up pretty much for free at the Clothes Show Live as I picked up a So Susan goody bag for just £5! Unbelievable bargain and I am so in love with this, I wear this pretty much every day at the moment. It is super sleek and will fit into your make up bag easy, So Susan also do truly gorgeous outer packaging with florals and I like there packaging on the products also, have you ever tried So Susan?

Looking forward to reading everyone else's blusher posts you can't beat a bit of blusher.

Hello lovelies, I may be totally mad even thinking of doing something like this but since I have got to know some incredible lovely people all i want is a massive sleepover! Here are some places I have found so far but who ever is up for it leave your email below and I will send an email to you all till we all agree on a place and best for pennies etc. I was thinking going in October or November sometime so it will be really cosy in front of a fire or sitting in our hot tub sipping on cocktails/champagne or whatever your tipple may be.

here is what I have loved so far...

Peak District Cottage

Weaver

Shropshire Cottage

James's Parlour

Yorkshire Dales Cottage

These are obviously just a few ideas but once I know who fancies it we can all discuss it together, preferable locations etc, what will be best for all of us. I'm excited if this does all go to plan because I have wanted to meet you all in ages! Me and Jess have a meet up soon but you don't really get to know each other well in a day... This would be amazing.

Just pop your email below and I'll start emailing Monday night!

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick | Review

Hello lovelies, I thought I would share with you all my new favorite lipstick at the minute.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick £8.99 in
Peach Club &
Ole Flamingo!

Peach club, A coral with peachy tones, it looks quite neon on my swatches but it isn't as daring on the lips. It's perfect for a day to day basis not being too in your face, I think this would compliment many skin tones and it adds just enough colour to not be over the top or plain, it's perfect and my favorite out of the two as I have been wearing this the most and it's perfect for Spring/Summer.
Ole Flamingo! A very vibrant hot fuchsia pink, will get everyone's attention. I wore this to a party last weekend and it literally stayed on my lips all night! Even through copious glasses of vodka, lemonade and lime and a few pringles.

I love the packaging of the product, sleek and quite elegant and very easy to choose your shade with the see through tube. It feels like you're applying a lipgloss with the wand but it instantly dries matte on your lips into a lipstick texture. It does cling to some of my dry areas, I would just recommend prepping your lips before hand. They last all day and night even through drinking and eating well worth the price tag. Even though they do cling to some of my dry areas on my lips they do feel really moisturising, they don't smudge at all, I am just in ore of them. I can't wait to by more, have you tried these yet?

My last ever Glossy Box

Hello lovelies, I wasn't going to write about Glossy Box but seeing as it's my last one...

April Glossy Box

The reason this is my last box is because this year I have just found the boxes pretty rubbish in all honesty, last year I was singing there praises but I am not willing to spend just over £13 for there boxes anymore to be disappointed. This months box isn't too bad but I'm not willing to risk another month and I've just joined Birchbox as as of yet I haven't heard a bad word against them so I'm hoping I'll love them plus Tattooed Tealady has a code for you to get a free box so check out THIS post to get your hands on one before the code runs out!

Emite Make Up L312 lip brush, firstly I never use lip brushes but I guess it's another brush to add to my collection and great if I'm giving my family a make over or my friends are borrowing some of my lippy.

TRESsemme Instant Refresh Cleansing Dry Shampoo, the product I like most out of the box. I love a good dry shampoo, I found with this it doesn't go powdery or spray out grey like others do and it has a pleasant smell to it, not only does it stop your hair looking greasy it also gives your hair volume.

MEMEME Cosmetics Beat the blues in Pearl pink, this is a highlighter, my applicator in this wasn't the best. I'm not a fan of the nail varnish type highlighters. It looked a bit tacky inside also, I don't think I'll be using this although I am a fan of MEMEME cosmetics usually.

Unica Cosmetics Radiance Plus, I like the fact this brand is organic with 100% natural ingredients but with skin care I think it takes a bit more than a tiny little tub full of product as this claims to have a dramatic effect on fine lines and wrinkles, it does smell lovely maybe I could just rub a very tiny amount in with my normal moisturiser and see how I get on with it.

Monu Spa Warming ginger massage and body oil, I have used this, not on myself though! My boyfriend loved it, well he would wouldn't he me slaving away on his back, arms and legs giving him a lovely massage. I enjoyed the scents to it and it did feel very spa like, the oil just soaked so lovely into the skin and it wasn't sticky at all or left a horrible residue. Dan is really fussy with oils and creams and likes to have a shower right after (strange I know) but with this he wasn't even fussed at all he said his skin felt lovely and smooth, so I may repurchase this item! Monu have a fantastic range of products and I've not disliked one so far of the range I have tried.

Goodbye Glossy Box
Hello Birch Box

I'd love to know, what is YOUR favorite subscription box?

What's On My Nails Wednesday #5

Hello lovelies, I hope you all had a lovely Easter, I did but I've been very naughty with my treats so I'm being strict on myself again now, just Oscars left over eggs are so tempting, but I won't give in. Today I have one of the new Rita Ora nail polishes, I did buy three not long ago and they will be appearing on my blog soon but I couldn't resist using one of them for my #womnw so here it is.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Rita Ora - Don't Be Shy &
Ciate Mini Mani - Twinkle Toes

Rimmels Don't Be Shy is a gorgeous fuchsia pink and you only need one coat for this to be opaque, but I am sort of in a routine of doing two coats now and it gives it a more opaque look and extra oomph to it. It is super shiny and compliments my fake tan hands so would look gorgeous on you tanned ladies but I also think it would suit us pale baby's out too!

Ciate polish in Twinkle Toes, what an adorable name to start with! Is my new favorite glitter polish, it is the glitteriest polish I own and ever seen, stunning silver particles with shine and sparkles that really gives you that party feel to your nails. I thought this looked great on the bright pink and I can't wait to keep using this, I hope I still have some left in time for Christmas otherwise I will be repurchasing this.

What do you think of my glittery pink look?

Couples OOTN - Smart Casual.

Hello lovelies, me and the fella went to an engagement party on Saturday night and after loosing just five pounds and had my fake tan on I did feel a lot more confident doing another outfit post and as my other half was looking rather ravishing I thought I would add his outfit in too. Plus I know I said my next outfit post would be better but it isn't sorry, Dan's not the best at taking photo's and was rushing me to go out so I couldn't even put my shoes on in mine and the lighting wasn't the best as it was night time so we had to make do with the bathroom, maybe the next one will be better?

DAN - SMART CASUAL

Isn't my man gorgeous ;)

BLAZER - NEWLOOK (mens section obvs)
SHIRT - NEXT
JEANS - NEXT
SHOES - DIESEL

ME - EVERY ROSE HAS IT'S THORN

DRESS - RIVER ISLAND
LIPSTICK -
BOURJOIS ROUGE EDITION VELVET LIPSTICK - OLE FLAMINGO!

We had a lovely night and I was very ill the next morning thanks to the black sambucca, yack. But I adored my dress, so beautiful and nothing I would normally go for. The staff in Stafford River Island couldn't have been any more helpful the manager there gave me my own dressing room and handed me lots and lots of dresses till I was happy with one, she was so lovely and I ended up picking this peter pan collared beauty, most of Dan's picks were new for the occasion too and he felt confident and comfy in his new rig.

I do hope my next outfit post is above par aha, apologies.
