SUMMER WEEK - NATURAL SUMMER MAKE-UP LOOK

For a normal summer look I would usually wear BB cream rather than foundation but it was date night and we was going to be out for the whole day so I didn't fancy touching up so I stuck with my trusty Rimmel 25 hour, you never need to touch up with that bad boy! It makes my skin feel and look flawless, evening out imperfections and making it look more radiant also. I start of using a base a moisturiser or primer today I used the Mac studio fix cream, it is so gorgeous it smells dreamy and sinks into the skin immediately and works perfectly for a primer as-well as a moisturiser then I applied these items in this order...

Rimmel 25 hour foundation - Classic beige
Studio finish Spf 35 concealer - NW15
Collection long lasting concealer - Light
Rimmel Stay matte powder - Translucent
W7 Brow bar
Eyeko Skinny liquid eyeliner - Navy blue
Benefit They're real
Bare Minerals bronzer - Faux tan
So Susan 8 hour cheek stain
Yves Saint Laurent Touch Eclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Pen
Maybelline Colour Sensational lipstick - Shocking coral

Are any of these items in your summer make-up bag at the moment, if not what is?

High street Vs High end, My Favorite - Cream blushers.

Cream blushers - Revlon Photoready cream blush 'Coral Reef' & So Susan 8 hour cheek stain

Revlon Photoready cream blush - £7.99
This is my go to cream blush on a daily basis if I'm not using my So Susan one, I hardly ever wear powder blushes anymore I just find cream blushes so easy and quick to apply, there great if your in a rush or for making a more opaque pop of colour to your cheeks, I apply mine using a Real techniques buffing brush just dabbing it on my cheeks, but of-course you can use your fingers if you prefer, perfect if your on the go. The colour is stunning, a coraly pink shade that makes me cheeks look glowy and ready for the summer.

So Susan 8 hour cheek stain - £25.00
The only annoying thing about this product is it has no shade name! They do only have the one though so it's easy enough to find on there website, I haven't heard much of this brand at all until I stumbled across it at the Clothes Show Live last year. There packaging is so beautiful as well as the products them self, this is such a pretty pinky red shade that makes my cheeks look blushed but very pretty, you can make it as sheer or as opaque as you like and it does last a good few hours throughout the day. I like the retractable stick and again I use the buffing brush but if your on the go perfect again as you can just dab it on your cheeks with the stick and blend with your fingers. I am constantly changing up these blushers through out the week and love them both, I didn't actually pay the RRP for this either as I got a bag full of So Susan goodies for a mere £5 best bargain of the day as they have some truly gorgeous products and the packaging is to die for.

Have you tried any of these products before?

Have you discovered? - Blush

Hello lovelies, I haven't done this series for a couple of weeks and completely forgot about last weeks as I have been loving a Bare Minerals bronzer but it is exactly the same as Rebecca's. I am excited to show you about this blusher as I don't hear the brand So Susan around a lot at all.

So Susan - 8 Hour cheek stain

The only annoying thing about this product is it hasn't got a shade name, it is the only one they do also. It is such a beautiful blusher though, a gel like form in a retractable stick that gives you moisture as well as a healthy glow. It is a pinky red and just gives your cheeks that lovely flush of colour it needs. I like to used my Real Techniques buffing brush to dab onto my cheeks and blend it out, but if you're out on the go this is perfect as you can just dab it on with the stick and blend in with your fingers, absolutely perfect if your on the go. It has got quite a big price tag at £25.00 but it will last you ages and it lasts 8 hours on your cheeks before fading. I was luckily enough to pick this up pretty much for free at the Clothes Show Live as I picked up a So Susan goody bag for just £5! Unbelievable bargain and I am so in love with this, I wear this pretty much every day at the moment. It is super sleek and will fit into your make up bag easy, So Susan also do truly gorgeous outer packaging with florals and I like there packaging on the products also, have you ever tried So Susan?

Looking forward to reading everyone else's blusher posts you can't beat a bit of blusher.

My Make-Up Collection - Highlighters

Hello lovelies, almost the weekend what are your plans? Soppy as it sounds I just look forward to seeing my man every weekend and go with the flow for plans there usually spontaneous. Today continuing my make-up collection I have for you my highlighters.
Highlighters

Budget highlighters - Chit Chat Highlighter, I think I purchased this from a pound shop a while ago now, the nail polish like brush inside is pretty naff but it comes out very creamy, you only need the tiniest amount and it is very shimmery. I would suggest this more for a night time look maybe. MUA Undress your skin shimmer highlighter, the embossing on the powder is beautiful looks like champagne waves, the colour itself is a champagne pink and give you a gorgeous glow, it's not even too much for the day time and lasts all day, it was pretty hyped up on the blogosphere when it first launched, it is definitely worth the small £3 price tag.
Mac Mineralise Skin finish in soft and gentle, one of my favorite highlighters that I use daily, I use this for day and night just a sheer amount of shimmer, when the light hist your face it looks beautiful. I constantly get complimented on it and everyone notices it which is nice as I find with some highlighters you can't tell yourself if you put it on or not, this one will always be my favorite I think. So Susan water based pure luminizer, a very large tube which will last you forever! It is another highlighter that is very pink toned and champagne like with the shimmer particles running through, it is very complimentary on the skin and instantly illuminates your cheek bones and brow bone. It is infused with pearlescent pigments to create the perfect wash of light and make your skin glow. Then lastly a new highlighter that I kindly got from Rachel Lamey to review which will be going up soon is the Royal Effem Beautiful highliter in 001, I am in love with this product already after just two uses! To be honest I have fell in love with everything I have tried from Royal Effem already, for a company I have never heard of before they know there sh..stuff. But back to the highlighter, I won't say too much as there will be a full review soon but it is highly pigmented you literally need the tiniest swipe of your brush and you get the most gorgeous tones on your skin and it works as a bronzer, blusher and highlighter in one! Well worth the price tag as it is needed for a quick fix in the make up bag.

A month of lipsticks, January 24th 2013.

Hello lovelies, finally Friday woo. What are your friday plans? I will be getting cosy in my pjs after a nice soak in the bath after my afternoon shift and watch rubbish tv and took into a curry, mmm. Here's another lipstick for you.

So Susan - ?

Hello lovelies, I bought this at the Clothes show live and I can't find a shade for it at all and on there website it doesn't give you the option to see the shade range? So that's annoying. But the colour is so beautiful a pink that makes your lips look gorgeous with a flush of colour. Really pretty and nourishing on the lips. Not only is it a lip stain it is a cheek stain also! Who doesn't love a two in one product?

As it is a stain it goes on quite glossy then dries quite matte but with still some added gloss to shine. I love the girly yet sleek packaging, no scent to it and animal cruelty free which is always a good thing!

It lasts a good few hours and I am really loving lip crayons.
