MY TOP FIVE DRUGSTORE LIPSTICKS

Hello lovelies, it has been a while since I did a 'top five' sort of beauty post so I thought I would kickstart it of again starting with my drugstore lipsticks, I also have a higher end one coming up and thinking of going through my make up collection doing this, maybe as I loving seeing what people's favourite beauty items are.

Seventeen Stay Pout - Kiss Me Quick : This is such a pretty pink shade lipstick and so easy to wear, it can be worn day or night to look girly and pretty. The formula of these lipsticks are quite creamy yet last quite a while on the lips. I love the sleek black packaging and they are super affordable, Boots usually have some good Seventeen offers going on too.

Topshop - Wicked : I think Topshop lipsticks are very underrated, they have an amazing colour range and the colour pay off is gorgeous and very pigmented! This lipstick in particular is more of my vampy shades but such a gorgeous deep berry shade that I love wearing in winter and autumn but could be used in spring with some light hearted eye shadow maybe, although I tend to go for brights and nudes in spring and summer. It lasts a long while and could do with a lip liner to keep it all in place without smudging all over the lip area.

Maybelline Colour Sensational - Shocking Coral : This is one of my ultimate favourite drugstore lipsticks, absolutely perfect for summer and spring if you're feeling brave. It is a very bright coral with a hint of pink, this baby lasts through a sandstorm, drinking, eating or just enjoying life this lipstick will stick around and leave a subtle stain to your lips but not a nightmare to remove either.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet - Peach Club : This is another one of those lipsticks that is so easy to wear with whatever make up look you are going for and stays put for a good few hours. It is quite matte in finish but doesn't dry your lips out at all. I love this peachy shade on my pale complexion but also think it would look gorgeous on darker skin tones.

Maybelline Colour Drama Velvet Pencil - Nude Perfection : I have not stopped wearing this since I bought it a few weeks back, I am seriously loving nude lips at the minute and this really is nude perfection! if you want Kylie Jenner lips for under £5 you need this in your life. The only annoying thing about this is you need a huge ass sharpener which I am searching for at the minute, I know a lot of people get put of my lipsticks you have to sharpen but it is so worth it for the colour pay off and longevity, plus it's very affordable I am tempted to buy a handful of these just incase they ever go somewhere I am that obsessed with it.

Are any of my top five drugstore lipsticks in your favourites? If not let me know yours in the comments below lovelies, have a fab weekend!

WHAT'S ON MY NAILS WEDNESDAY #37

OPI 'Muppets Most Wanted Collection' Mini in Chillin Like A Villain

Hello lovelies, I was after a pretty nude this week and remembered the muppet collection of opi mini's I previously bought from Tkmaxx so got this gorgeous nudey peach out. I can't find the set on Tkmaxx but here is a link for this shade on amazon. You really have to build up the layers if you want more of an opaque shade, if your looking for a really sheer nude this is perfect for you but I had to put on about three layers to get this more opaque peachy shade and it's still not really that opaque but I am in love with the shade. I think it looks really well on my pale complexion if you ignore my really dry nails, they need some tlc! I think this shade would look gorgeous on everyone's complexion though personally it's so pretty and very versatile and also adds a gorgeous shine to the nails.

I also think the mini opi bottles look so cute! I actually have this big cookie glass jar I keep all my mini polishes in as I think they look very decorative on my dressing table and their perfect for taking away on weekends away or for touch ups in your make up bag without being too bulky. I also think doing one nail in some glitter would really set the look of and the more I look at my nails the more I think I will add some glitter, maybe a gold!

What do you think of this mini opi shade?

MAKE UP REVOLUTION LIMITED EDITION PALETTES

Hello lovelies, sorry for the weeks break I have just been overly busy with family life and enjoying it. But I am back with some beauty posts, these gorgeous limited edition palettes won't be around for long, so grab them whilst you can for just £3.99!

I love makeup, I love obsessions palette - Pure Cult £3.99*

This is my favourite out of the two palettes I kindly received from Make Up Revolution, I am not usually one for pinks but I want to try out more colour especially as spring is just around the corner, I think pinks and golds will look gorgeous in the spring with a smokey brown eye also you can't go wrong! The eye shadows are such soft in formula, they apply super easily and very pigmented for the small price tag. It comes with a mixture of matte and shimmers so great if you like a bit of both and I think this is a perfect palette for a day or night look and compact enough to fit into your make up bag. The only annoying thing for me is that it has no shade names, I like to know the shade I am putting on my eye, is that just me? I suppose with it being a limited edition palette though it's not the end of the world as you wouldn't be able to repurchase unless you buy it in bulk! Although the cute embossed obsessions and I heart is pretty. I am very much looking forward to doing some spring looks with this palette though, so look out for that.

I love makeup, I love obsessions - West End Girls £3.99*

This is more on the glamour side and very west end, I didn't think any of these eye shadows would appeal to me when I first looked at them all but once swatched I was pleasantly surprised. How beautiful is that striking gold? I also heard on the beauty grape vine that purples are great for bringing out the green in your eyes, a lovely make up artist at a Bobbi Brown counter told me this and actually demonstrated it on me, it is true! It made my green eyes brighter and sparkle so I will have to have a play around with this palette. I am so used to my neutrals and browns etc I really want to venture out with more colour this year, so this palette is perfect for that! It has got some neutral colours at the bottom of the palette though so if all else fails my safety shades are there. Again this palette is a mixture of mattes and shimmers and have amazing colour pay off and pigmentation. I can't believe how little priced they are and they do such similar shades to high end brands.

They also come in three more shade options being - Born to die another nude and smoked palette, Paris featuring romantic shades and Wild is the wind 'hearbreaking' shades. I am of to look on the website now for the other palettes, I love the look of Born to die. Don't miss out on these gorgeous limited edition palettes and order online now before they go!

Have you got these in your make up collection yet or have your eye on a particular palette?
