Catrice cosmetics.

Hello my lovelies, happy Friday to you all although it will probably be Saturday when you read this so have a lovely weekend. I am sharing with you all today a brand I have never heard of and came across in Spain when I went on my jollies.

Catrice cosmetics
Has anybody else heard of them?
Well as I was in a beautiful shop full of cosmetics and perfume and came across this, I am loving lip crayons at the minute so I thought why not give it a try so I did. I purchased a Catrice Cosmetics Lip Colour Pen, limited edition in glamazona.

I was drawn to the lovely packaging also, sleek black pen with a leopard print effect around the front of the pen with pretty fine pink detailing over the top.

To me this smells like vanilla cupcakes, smells good enough to eat not the minty smell you get from some, it is quite subtle as well if your not into sweet smelling scents. It glides over your lips so softly and builds up very pigmented on your lips. Its moisturizing and makes your lips look that little bit more fuller. I picked this colour because I thought it was gorgeous, a beautiful bright fuchsia with a tiny hint of red. It cost around 6 euros so not too much at all and I love it. The woman in the shop told me it was a Spanish brand but I've looked up abit about the brand and I don't think it is but please if you know correct me if I'm wrong but it isn't available in the UK which is a shame because I really wish I brought more now. There was no other brands jumping out at me though to be honest so this was the only make up product I picked up but I'm very happy with it.

This is the only link I can find to be near enough to the same product lovelies, Catrice.

If there is any lovely international readers out there though who have tried this brand please let me know your thoughts on there products or this particular product, thanks.

Again have a lovely weekend lovelies and don't get too drunk. (I'm just jealous)

Alcudia family holiday.

Hello lovelies, is this week dragging or is it just me?

Our family holiday, My lovely boyfriend literally booked a holiday and told me within 5 days to spare so obviously I was very excited but my first holiday abroad with a 1 year old panic what do I need?! I got there in the end though. Suit cases packed a couple days prior and all set! Luckily the flights were only a couple of hours as that was the main thing I was worried about with having Oscar, he gets bored really easily. We flew with Monarch which is a company I'd never heard of but they really was fantastic! The seats on a plane are cramped and it gets fairly hot and sitting in a 3 seated tight area with 3 people plus a toddler on your lap it can get abit frustrating so a lovely staff member came up to us and asked the gentleman next to us if he wouldn't mind moving a seat to give us some room I thought this was ever so kind and made out flight much more pleasant especially when moving seats normally you get a charge of £15 so we was very grateful!

Once we got there we had to go on a coach for an hour and half till we reached our complex which is another thing I worried about not only for Oscar but me as I get awful travel sickness in cars/coaches/buses for longer than an hour! But we were both fine, Oscar luckily slept most of the way on daddy's lap.

Well as you can see they both napped, bless them.

As soon as we got of the plane the heat hits you, I'm not one for hot hot weather I know your probably thinking why go abroad here then? But I didn't want Oscar to miss out and Dan loves it. It wasn't too bad anyway as you get nice breezes.

We finally got to our complex and I was immediately chuffed, the staff were ever so welcoming and helpful and very friendly although the receptionists weren't as lovely.
We quickly got upstairs and opened our cases to get our swim suits on! I couldn't wait to jump in the pool with Oscar, but there wasn't just one pool there were several! A pool for everyone (not literally) I mean children, adults etc. There's nothing better than jumping in a nice cool pool on a hot day is there with endless amount of food and drinks supply. We went all inclusive, best thing ever. There was breakfast all you can eat from 7 till 10 then lunch 12 till 3 then supper 6 till 9 which every different night they had a theme so all sorts of different food to choose from. Amazing, then for late night snackers they did food 9 till 12 but whilst your around the pool they had huts on till 3 with burgers, chips etc so you could never get hungry! We all ate far too much, just because we could really. Oscar was loving it obviously! Well we all was the food was amazing, I know some food abroad can be abit funny but it was gorgeous there.

In the day they had lots to for children and teenagers but Oscar was abit too young to go in one of those play groups so he was stuck with us all the while. They had a lovely little park there for him which also had a baby pool in. The facilities were faultless. We can't wait to go back again when Oscars older so he can enjoy it and appreciate it more. Also in the day we went into the Alcudia town a couple of times but the town wasn't all that for me really alot of pubs and shops but not for things I would really buy. We went to the beach a couple of times also and Oscar loved crawling in the sand and playing and the sea of course. We all had so much fun, if we wasn't doing them things we would be by the pool just relaxing really.

At night time we only ventured out of the complex a couple of times went into the town and had a couple of drinks in the bars and there was an english bar right round the corner from our complex with wifi and football for the boyfriend! So he was very pleased and they did pub quizes which I enjoyed and they made us a scrummy curry one night. In the complex at night the entertainment was lovely. The first night we got there they did a Queen tribute but we didn't really enjoy Spanish people miming to that so we left but we didn't give up for the night after as it was a take that tribute from the UK and they were awesome. Then the other night we watched the entertainers they put a play on of Beauty and the beast we all loved that although there miming is awful we really enjoyed it. I hated Oscar being out of his usual routine but hes been great at home since so no problems at all luckily.

With the booking we did Dan payed just a little extra for us to have access to the water park a 30 second walk from the complex and we all loved it there also. Dan enjoyed the kamikazes,  all the big water slides and I loved in the pool next to them the wave machine! Oscar was thrilled by that also it was amazing. So that was defiantly worthwhile.

We went to the Alcudia market one day wow what a long walk but the place was beautiful where the market was set out next to a beautiful church too, they sold beautiful handbags and clothes but I was good and didn't buy a thing.

The mountains are beautiful in Alcudia/Palma and we had tremendous views from our balcony was so pleasant at night time sitting out there having a snuggle at night time with the stars out (I know grab a sick bucket).

I don't really know what much else to say about our holiday to be honest but how much we loved it and I would really recommend going we stayed at Club Mac Jupiter hotel they have so much to do its unreal you could never get bored! Golf, swimming pools, football,  aqua aerobics, fitness, park, a little fair, a beautiful lake with canoe boats and swan boats on. At night time they had little stalls where me and Dan purchased a plaster cast of our hands together you had to dip your hands in hot wax then straight into freezing cold water a few times then go back the next day to purchase it, I love it its beautiful and we also got a picture of Oscar by a cartoon artist there. He must be on a fortune 20 euros for 5 minutes and he never stopped from 7 till 12!

I'll let you just enjoy the pictures as you may see a little more from what I explained, thank you for reading our holiday post I hope you enjoyed it and I'm more than happy to answer any questions about it :) Have a lovely afternoon x

This is really just a snippet of my photos if you want to see them all follow me on facebook they will be on there soon Paige Wallbank on there. Thanks again.

Life update.

Hello my lovelies, so sorry about the big gap I've been having a really tough time at the moment but I have been on holiday also! The next post will be all about my jollies. Then its back to reality isn't it. Worst part about holidays having to sadly come back home. So grab a pew and a very large cuppa if you don't get too bored. Unless you want to know about my life haha which I'm guessing you do or you wouldn't be reading this, so...

Its not all doom and gloom at the moment in my life thank god. I have the most beautiful boy who has not long turned 1 I wanted to do a big post about his birthday but the picture quality was rubbish and my phone was plugged into a stereo for Disney music so that wasn't much good either. He did have a wonderful day though I think. He had a party with a bouncy castle and the kids loved it. It was lovely to see him interacting with all aged kids and smiling happily on his new toys although he didn't think too much over the bouncy castle. He is still young though maybe try again in a couple of years. So that was lovely! A very proud moment but a little upsetting as it really does go far too fast which is why I'm so lucky to have a great boyfriend who works all hours so I can be a stay at home mum and take every moment in because every day is so precious watching him grow into his own little personality, hes amazing but obviously I'm biased.

On the job front though I hate not having my own money and I love nail art to I'm going to be doing a nail art course in November so I'm really looking forward to that and means we have extra pennies! Always a good thing also and I get to do it from home so I'm not missing out a bonus.

The thing that really is getting me down lately is our puppy! I know what your all thinking, he's a puppy there all nightmares but a one year old and a puppy WOW hard work don't come close, I really think I'd rather have ten kids there much easier. I trained him to not pee and poo in the house that's sorted with but he is just a nightmare and I know it's not the puppy's fault he needs attention but I can't give it him whilst I'm trying to teach Oscar to walk watching him and doing housework etc its impossible when Alfie is trying to hump Oscar all the while too, I had a break down the other night and just cried my eyes out Oscars going through teething at the minute with a dog trying to hump him and him wrecking the place I'm sure you can all imagine. But my boyfriend is being so selfish about the matter as he is the one that wants to keep the dog yet he never does anything with him, he will go to work yeah fair enough but then he will go to the pub for a couple of hours and its just not fair and to be honest the dog needs a family who can give him that attention because I know its not the dogs fault hes just bored and making his own entertainment up but It's really having its toll on me big time. Its causing me and my boyfriend to row a lot and I feel I'm doing everything alone I really need to go on 'It's me or the dog' or I can see myself just walking out. Ahhhhhh, someone please comment if you feel me haha.

The holiday was amazing, was so nice to be with just my family and not have to worry about anything, all inclusive so food and drinks whenever you want can't get much better than that hey. The hotel itself Club Mac Alcudia was an amazing complex for kids had so much to do and the entertainment was good I thought but I'll go more into detail about my holiday in the next post.

Friends?! Oh what are those again, you don't have any when you have a baby I've decided. I have a couple don't get me wrong but not that you can rely on. I just give up to be honest I'm usually always the first to text or arrange a meet up I do stop that now as whats the point when they don't bother? You really cant trust anyone but yourself. I wouldn't change my life for the world I love being a mother so much and Oscar is my best friend but I would also like female company in my life and an adult conversation not about football and what to have for tea. Everyone is busy and doing there own thing yeah, not a problem but surely you can make some time, I also think people act differently when there with certain people which really grinds me. I have lost a lot of friends lately due to not listening to there bull crap and they all slag each other of and so dis loyal and the list goes on to be honest. I'm just so glad I have my son he makes me life that bit better and makes me smile everyday. There are some friends I have that I don't need to see everyday but still love and grateful for and never feels like we don't see each other as soon as were together but my attitude now is to those people who don't bother with me now your loss, I don't need you :)

Last whinge I promise, my weight! I know I know, thats my fault 100% I put on a whopping 4 stone whilst pregnant just being a pure fatty pig eating mounds of chocolate, currys, Mc donalds, take aways you name it I ate it. Now Oscars one its really hit me now I look in the mirror and feel disgusted with myself, how could I let myself go so much? I hate myself, I've never been body confident or confident in my looks but now I just gross myself out looking in the mirror so its final now. I need to loose my weight and tone up, I'm going to join Slimming World for the last time on Thursday and start a new leaf. I will learn to love myself also, you only get one body so be kind to it. Don't get me wrong I never judge any one on there weight if your comfortable in your own skin that is all that matters! Don't worry about anyone else its your body you do what you like with it. I'm just really not happy at all with mine at the minute and its time to be a new fitter me. Oscar doesn't want an out of breath whale chasing him around the park haha.

I really didn't want this to be a moany ranty post but I'm sorry lovelies it was. (covers face)
I am going to do more posts like this maybe a weekly thing or fortnightly to say what I've been doing and I promise not to moan all the way through but this has been me for the past few weeks hope I didn't bore you all too much and a big well done if you made it all the way through tap yourself on the back and have a biscuit with your brew!

I hope your all very well and thank you so much for being patient with me and giving my blog the time of day, I honestly really appreciate it.
