PUMPKIN PICKING

Hello lovelies, so today we went pumpkin picking, yes its a little early but my decorations have been up since last week! Oscar is so excited about Halloween he said he's more excited about this than Christmas, I beg to differ he just can't wait for all the 'treats' but he's been asking for pumpkins for days! I saw on my Facebook someone talking about pumpkin patches and I thought, wow I've never actually been to one before, searches google...

HALLOWEEN CRAFTS E-BOOK

Hello lovelies, so the lovely blogger Kate from Crafts on Sea, very kindly sent me and some other bloggers her E-Book of Halloween crafts for kids over! I absolutely adore doing crafts with the kids, I think not only is it fun but its that great bonding time too and of-course the mess for the kids. I sadly have been really unwell and problems with family to do any of the crafts yet but I had to share with you all Kate's new book before Halloween is over so you can do some fun crafts with your children.

MUMMY MONDAY | HALLOWEEN

Hello lovelies so it's Halloween Saturday! How are you celebrating? Do you even celebrate it?

It will be Oscar's first time trick or treating this year I can't wait to see his face and do up his face with face paints! Oscar actually wants to be spiderman for Halloween and we got his outfit from the Disney store! Here is the spiderman one and here is the page full of all the costumes you can think of for trick or treating or getting dressed up for a party

All the time just before Halloween I love to carve pumpkins, oscar enjoyed it more this year as he is older, the great thing about having kids too is they get to scoop all the goop out, I hate scooping all the stuff out its gross and smells yack too. We all had fun even Dan got stuck in as you can see above aha.

Will you be getting dressed up this Halloween?

MUMMY MONDAY | PUMPKIN CARVING.

Hello lovelies, we have finally started pumpkin carving, sorry about all the different lightening, the weather outside didn't play ball today. Me and Oscar had lots of fun though, I cut of the lid and Oscar had lots of fun scooping out the gunk, I hate the smell of the inside and it feels gross but Oscar seemed to enjoy it. My dad was luckily around as I am not the greatest at removing it all properly and had a great idea of using a potato peeler to scoop every last little bit out, we soon had a hollow pumpkin ready for a tea light. It is now pride and place of our windowsill and Oscar keeps saying wow ooooh.

Have you been carving pumpkins with your little monsters?

MUMMY MONDAY | DECORATING GINGERBREAD BATS

Hello lovelies, a few days ago I was walking around Morrisons and spotted these bats that you decorate, I know Oscar loves gingerbread men so I thought these would be perfect for us to do something together. He really enjoyed getting his hands dirty and the food tray aha, instead of sprinkling the hundreds and thousands he went for the tip it all out solution then shake it off, bless him. Even after taking a bite out the bats he liked to carry on decorating them, then me, daddy and Oscar ate them. They were very nice and was a lot of fun. Sometimes its hard to think of activities for inside when the weathers rubbish out so this is great plus a fun Halloween activity. Why not have some fun with your children or be a big kid for the day.

Have you spotted these in your local supermarkets?

Happy Halloween

Hello lovelies, Have you been trick or treating? I feel kind of bad I didn't really get into the spirit this year but Oscar is still young and if I did carve pumpkins with him he would only try and eat the insides, eurgh! The smell is off putting enough. But I did take him to a kiddies Halloween party which was lovely. He really enjoyed himself and the kids did too. My friend who hosted the party but so much effort into it it was lovely, she dressed up as a witch and looked fantastic. Really wish I took a picture of her now. She put a lovely spread on and had little games for everyone and they all got a bag full of goodies when we left too. Oscar was dressed in a little pumpkin outfit he looked adorable but didn't like his picture being took today as he didn't want to stay still and miss any of the action. Whilst I post this I am actually burning my Halloween Yankee candle Candy corn, smells so sweet and amazing.

Just a short Halloween post for you today lovelies but hope you all got lots of treats. Do you make a big deal at Halloween? I think I may host a party next year, just a maybe.
