A DAY AT NATIONAL FOREST ADVENTURE FARM FOR LAWSONS 2ND BIRTHDAY

I can't believe my baby is two already!? Time really does fly when you're having fun, you blink and they're toddlers, then preschoolers before I know it I will have a pair of teenagers, ahh scary! Lawson has brought so much joy to our lives, he is the sweetest gentle little boy, very very placid and cautious. He can be a little savage at times too but he is an angel 90% of the time.

For his birthday we really struggled on what to get him because between them both they put Toys r Us to shame, I obviously still got him a couple of new toys as did his family but we wanted to take him on days out and have memories with him rather than more things to take up room upstairs so we went to the National Forest Adventure Farm on Friday for his actual birthday and we went to Drayton Manor on the Sunday, I didn't take many photos at Drayton Manor as I didn't really want to take my camera, I instagram storied our time there and took a couple of photo's on there but that's about it, we had such a god day out though the weather was gorgeous and the que time wasn't that bad considering it was a weekend, was a lovely family day out.

We had such a lovely day at the farm also, Lawson walked the whole way around it so he was very tired when we got back, he fed the animals, held guinea pigs, played endlessly in the sand pits and indoor soft play, went on tractor rides, saw lots of different animals which you can tell are looked after very well! We even saw a pig giving birth and all the baby lambs that had not long been born. I would highly recommend this place if you live near Burton up on Trent there is so much to do there especially if its a gorgeous day, big jumping pillows outside we had lots of fun on those and they have a water splash out when it's really warm. They also hold events like dinosaur mazes or something to do with the season, check their website out for upcoming events, it was a beautiful day I'll just leave you now with all our photo's from the day, as you can see Lawson didn't like feeding the goats at first, very cautious but he was feeding them all by the end of the day and I didn't take photo's in the soft place indoors but we ran the kids ragged in there too and had lots of fun on the slides.
