Hello lovelies today I have for you a gorgeous set of nail transfer stickers! I was kindly sent a random pack from the lovely Tess who makes individual transfers and a fellow girl gang member I was stoked when she picked me to trial some, she has all sorts of designs that she has made and put up on the 'Not on the high street' page. It was great to be sent a few designs to choose from but also to see which ones I like the best to get a full kit of later on, the ones that stuck out to be the best were the sassy love heart ones! As you can see below I stuck that on my thumb straight away, these would also make your toes look super cute too! Hamburger toes anyone?

Christmas Nail tutorials, Santa's Hat.

Hello lovelies, another nail art tutorial for you. Today I have for you a cute sparkly Santa's Hat. I'm really getting into the festive spirit, are you all excited for Christmas?
Well first you will need the following;

Your choice of white polish, I have gone with Maybelline Colour Show in 'Winter Baby' then you will need your choice of red polish I have opted for a sparkly number in Barry M's 'Red Glitter'. Then you will need a dotting tool, I purchased a set of 5 from ebay for around £3, just type in the search bar dotting tools. You could paint your nail in a nude shade before hand to make it stand out a bit more but that's completely up to you.

Once you have your tools start by colouring your nail tip then dragging it down like a backwards g on to the left hand side. 

Then get some white polish on the tip of your dotting tool and make circle dots underneath your Santa's hat.

Then carry on will you have gone all the way across then add an extra ball at the bottom of your hat.

If your feeling extra glam and glitzy why not add a little gem to the bobble of your hat?

Now you have one groovy, sparkly Santa's hat! This is my favorite design out all my Christmas nail art tutorials and I will defiantly be rocking these Christmas day! You don't even have to have this design on all your nails it looked super cute on my thumb nails or I like a design on me accent nail. Christmas Nail Tutorials, Candy Cane.

Hello lovelies, as were are in December I thought Id share with you some Christmas nail art tutorials and I'm going to start with Candy canes. I'm going to attempt to #blogmas.
Who loves candy canes? I think there yummy, pepperminty goodness.
This Is what you will need;

To start with choose your choice of base, If you read my blog you will know I'm pretty lazy with this so I skip this step but I really need to start using it as when I paint my nails a dark colour it stains my nails bad. But anyway once you've painted your nails on your base you will need to choose a white nail polish, my chosen one is  Maybelline Colour Show in 'Winter Baby' then you will need a red I have gone for Maybelline Colour Show in 'Power Red' or if you would like a sparkly red opt for Barry M in 'Red Glitter'. Then you will need some stickers or some sort of tape and scissors to cut them up with. 
So firstly start by painting your nails in the white polish you have chosen, wait a good few hours before you carry on with the design so it doesn't smudge or ruin.

Then cut up your strips of sticker/sticky tape, I have cut mine thin and thick for added effect.

Then place the bits of sticker/tape on your nail on how you want your candy nail design to be.

I chose to do mine at an angle so it wasn't too straight. Then you chose which red polish you want and paint over the strips.

Blow on your nails or use a fast drying spray/polish then slowly pull the bits of tape/sticker of in a gentle manner.

Finish of with a top coat to seal in your design then there you have your candy cane nails! You can add abit of green for extra peppermintness, leave the sparkles out or add more. You could do a red base then white on top, whatever you fancy. I hope this helped you and inspired you to dabble with your polishes at home. NOTD Star Gazer

Hello lovelies, Happy Friday! Hope your all relaxed and soothed, fancy doing your nails different for the weekend? You like stars? Well here is a nails of the day featuring both.

I have decided to name this nail art star gazer. A shooting star with lots of silver sparkles, this is how you re-create this look.

The colour is completely up to you even a baby blue would look gorgeous with this I think but I started with painting my nails all over in this beautiful pale pink from Models Own in Strawberry tart, one of there scented polishes which is not scented may I add, just the lid.  Then I went over with Sally Hansens Dry fast top coat as I'm in impatient bugger and you need patience with nail art. I then popped a star on to my thumb in the left hand corner which again is completely up to you, you can put the star where you prefer. I got a packet of silver stars from a Ebay seller just type in your search bar star nail art and you will get lots of options. I pressed the star down pretty hard then again re-applied another coat of Sally Hansens top coat to make sure it stays put. 

Then for the stripes I used my nail art pen which was from Primark that comes in a pack of two you can choose from a range of colours I chose a pack with gold and silver in. I then swiped carefully across with the silver nail art pen and made shooting star lines then went in after for the middle with a sparkly number from Rimmel in Disco Ball. For around the edges of my nail I used the silver nail art pen this was pretty easy I start from the middle then carefully follow my nail line and follow it up to the top then again on the other side.

Then again I re-applied another coat of Sally Hansens Super Dry top coat to hold them all together. I love this nail art its very girly and spacey. Hope you enjoyed this little nail art tip see you soon.

Daisy Nail Art

Hello again lovelies as I don't think I'll be posting tomorrow and the weekend as my fella is back from working away in London I thought I would treat you with two posts tonight, aren't you lucky hay haha. 
I have been loving doing DIY arty bits on my nails lately and have continuously forgot to take pictures to share with you on my blog so I thought I would start from now.  Here's a simple pretty nail art for you all that looks lovely for the summer/spring or anytime really but more for the summer as the pretty flowers have sprung.

Sorry about the lighting, I did it in a loft conversion with the sun blaring as didn't want to intoxicate my son down stairs with the nail polish fumes. Its a stinky game.

To achieve this look you shall need the following tools...

Despite the base nail colour you can choose which ever you like

Step 1 - I am sorry I am very impatient and lazy and do not use a base coat so if you do you may want to do this first.

Step 2 - Apply the base colour you would like to set your pretty daisies on, I chose Barry M Gelly Hi Shine in Pomegranate.

Step 3 - To make things easier I poured out the yellow polish from Miss Sporty on a flat surface so I had a blob of polish to work with and used my dotting tool to dab it in. You place your dotting tool in the yellow blob and dab it in places you would like it on your nail. I only fancied two on each nail so popped two dots vertically on my nails.

Step 4 - Using a nail art pen I picked up from Primark in white I placed little white dots around the yellow dot to make a daisy effect. 

Step 5 - I was feeling a little creative and popped white polka dots on my thumb nail and accent nail, you don't have to do this if you don't want to. Whatever you fancy :)

Step 6 - Then lastly apply a top coat I used Sally Hansen Insta Dry, Anti chip top coat. I have had these nails for a couple of days now and there still going strong with no chips at all and I'm constantly using my hands with a baby, puppy, cleaning, washing up etc so I would defiantly recommend this top coat!

I got my dotting tools from Ebay there about £3.00 for 6 what a bargain! Just type in nail dotting tools in your Ebay search.
