Current Every day Make Up Routine

Hello lovelies, just finished the #SeventeenONthespot twitter party was a fab way of connecting people and some amazing tips! I really want to go out and buy that foundation now. But for now this is what I'm currently wearing on a day to day basis minus the lipstick changes because a different day I feel a different lip, am I the only one haha?

This isn't a strictly every day make up but the products I have here are the products I do tend to reach for more or less every day I wear make up! If I buy a new product I do tend to throw that in the mix, I love trying out new things but I think with foundation that's one thing I think everyone would like to master. Well the one thing people like keeping if they know it works well for them. So beginning with base this is what I'm using at the minute.

I start of with The POREfessional pro balm from benefit,
I rub this all over my spot prone areas and where I have a little redness just with my fingertips. I love how it has a velvety soft texture and finish to it. Then using my Real Techniques Expert face brush I mix Rimmel's Lasting finish 25 hour foundation in the shade True nude and Macs Studio Sculpt in NW20 on the palm of my hand then brush all over my face for a lovely dewy finish. As I have normal to dry skin I don't really like going for a matte finish, this leaves me quite flawless. Using Rimmel Lasting finish 25 hour stay on its own though can leave quite a matte finish but it is amazing coverage! Medium to full definitely, my favourite foundation at the minute.

Then I pop some light concealer under my eyes to brighten them up a bit and use a darker concealer on any pesky spots to cover the horrible buggers up. At the minute I am totally loving my sample of Vichy Dermablend stick and will be repurchasing the actual product once I have used them up! Its amazing stuff, although its quite pricey I think its defo worth it. For my pale skin I use 'Porcelain'  for my under eyes and it makes them look so radiant.

Then I go into eyes, my favourite bit of make up. If I'm feeling lazy or not going out anywhere special I don't tend to wear a lot or sometimes non at all - eye shadow. But when I do I love my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette since I've brought it I have been using it religiously so defiantly getting my moneys worth out of it. I love a smokey eye myself and my favourite shades for my smokey eye are Foxy all over the lid then Suspect in the crease blended in with a hint of Busted on the outer corner, just a smudge!

Before I apply my eye shadow though I have been loving Elf's Eye lid primer in Sheer. Then after I have done my eye shadow i love Rimmels Glam Eyes Liquid eye liner, my favourite. Such an easy applicator for just a straight line or a winged look. Not too harsh as you can be as light or dark as you like. Then curl my lashes using the No7 Lash curler and apply my absolute favourite mascara at the minute, Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp Ultra Volume Mascara witch is actually half price at the minute. I would really recommend it, it gives great natural looking lashes but so much volume.

After doing my eye's I go onto eye brows. The bit I'm still trying to master perfectly! But I quite like the look I go for, quite natural with a brush of powder in all the sparse bits and a bit of definition. I am using the MUA pro brow palette at the minute. Two great shades to choose from, a highlighting shade which I think is a tad to dark for me I like to use a white eye shadow to highlight my brow bone, then a brow gel to fix the bad boys into shape. I don't use the tweezers or eye brush though I just use a boots own angled brush.

Then contouring, highlighting and a bit of blush. I contour my face with Macs powder blusher in Sincere but as its dark for my pale complexion I use that as my bronzer as its matte with no shimmer. I use my Eco tools blusher brush to contour my cheeks and sweep a bit on the outer corners of my forehead, a bit under my chin and the sides of my nose. I love this blusher and hitting pan! Will defo have to re-purchase this. Then for a touch of colour to my cheeks I have been loving cream blushes lately. My go to cream blusher at the moment has been Maybelline's Dream Touch Blush in 06 I hate how it doesn't have the shade but its a beautiful shimmery pink that adds a natural yet lovely flush of colour to your cheek bones. I apply my cream blushes with a buffing brush I know now your all probably thinking what the... But I dab it on my cheek bones gently and gives a flawless finish that I'm loving. Then lastly I sweep a little highlighter over the top of my cheek bones, down my nose and above my cupids bow, I am using MUA's Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter and again using a brush in the wrong context a Real Techniques contour brush! I think you can use make up brushes in all types of places though the thing I love about Real Techniques brushes are that there so versatile.

Then lastly lips. As i said before it depends where I may be going, or what I fancy if I'm feeling a bright lip, natural or nude! Not literally thank the lord, sight for sore eyes alright.
These are the lipsticks I have been reaching for.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivids Lipstick in 910 Shocking Coral
If your feeling a bright colour this is great! A mix of pink and coral with a little hint of a red undertone. I absolutely love the vanilla scent to there lipsticks too, smells good enough to eat. The lasting power on these baby's are amazing too! They go through kissing, drinking, eating the lot.

Revlon Colour burst Lip Butter in Crème Brulee
A perfect nude lip for me with a lipstick that is so nourishing on the lips. More of a lip balm texture. I love this colour though and the pretty packaging.

Loreal Paris Glam Shine Stain Splash in 102 Romy
A natural pink that is just a lovely soft touch of colour to add to your lips, lovely leaf shaped wand for an easy application sweep over the lips. It goes on really wet but then dry's fast. It does last a good few hours. These lip stains come in such a great array of colours too I don't know if there more sheer toned though or it's just the colours I have brought.

With all my products I have been using most of them need a good tool! And these are the tools I have been loving/using.

So sorry and ashamed you have to witness my dog bitten make up brush! Having puppy issues at the minute, it was washed though I promise before used. I do tend on gettting another, sorry Samantha Chapman! Also I do wash my brushes at least once a week but didn't get the chance to do so before this post I just wanted to post this.

Foundation - Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
Eye Brows - Boots Own Angled Brush (Sorry not sure which one)
Inner eye corner - Real Techniques Detailed Brush
Bronzer - Eco tools Bronzer Brush
Cream Blush - Real Techniques Buffing Brush
Highlighting - Real Techniques Contour Brush
Lash Curling - No7 Lift and Curve Eye Lash Curler

The finished look, depending on which lipstick I chose, this one being Maybelline Colour sensational in Shocking Coral.
