HIGHSTREET #FOTD

Hello lovelies, so I thought I would share with you a high street/drug store make up look then next week I will do a high end one. I am no make up artist as you can clearly see but I love playing around with make up and this helped me dig out items I haven't used in a while, also to come up on the blog in the near future is 'splurge vs spend' and 'shop the stash'. No need to buy more make up then right? Boots points don't count...

Seventeen Skin wow 3 way highlighter - This is a 3 way in that it can be used as a primer alone, mixed with your foundation or just used as a highlighter alone. I always put this on as my base/primer as I think it gives my skin a gorgeous glow, it is very similar to high beam from Benefit if your looking for a cheaper alternative. It has pearlescent pink glow to it which I find works brilliantly with my pale skin tone and just gives my skin that lift to stop it being so dull, I also love the fact it has a pump no squeezing out any waste.

Rimmel 25 hour foundation Ivory - One of my absolute favorite foundations, everyone loves a good high end foundation, don't get me wrong I do but I'd be happy if I could only survive on this stuff! It is medium to full coverage and covers my imperfections and blemishes well, it doesn't feel cakey on the skin and bendable to the coverage your after.

Rimmel Wake me up concealer Ivory - This is fairly new to me but I'm already a fan of it, not so much for the under eyes but its great for covering up blemishes. Its easy to blend and dab on with the applicator, I think if they did some really light shades it would brighten up the under areas a bit more.

Rimmel Stay matte powder - Like this product needs mentioning? Does what it says on the tin and if you haven't heard of this what rock have you been hiding under? Every woman and her cat has this...

Barry M Flawless chisel cheeks contour kit - I am in love with this contour kit since I bought it a few months ago I haven't used anything else from the high street! It has three shades in there a light powder to cover your highlighted areas and a medium dark shade for bronzer and a third darker shade for contouring, I always use the middle shade to contour my cheeks, forehead, outer nose and chin because I'm really pale and its the perfect shade for my skin.

Max Factor Creme puff blush Gorgeous berries - These highstreet blushers feel so much more like high end ones, so luxurious and the pigment is just amazing, you only need the tiniest sweep or you end up looking like you had a fight with your blusher brush. I love the pretty swirls in the dome and gives a subtle shine to your face to highlight those cheek bones.

Make Up Revolution Vivid baked highlighter Golden lights - If you have £3 in your bank go buy it now, you will never look back and it will be the best £3 you ever spent! This rocks any highlighter I have in my collection, not kidding! It has got a bit of a yellow tone to it thats probably the only don fall but this is pigmented like an urban decay eye shadow! I made a silly mistake of brushing hard on it and swiping it on my face, I looked like the sun. You only need the tiniest amount on your brush plus its amazing for brightening inner corners and under them brows.

Rimmel Brow this way Medium blonde - If you are very fair haired I wouldn't say this is true to its shade name as I'm dark haired at the moment and it suits my brow hairs unless you like the darker brow of course. The applicator is easy and great when your in a rush to just tame those brows but if you haven't got much to work with in the first place I probably wouldn't pick this up, nice and handy for on the go though.

Maybelline Color 24hr tattoo cream eye shadow On and on bronze - I used this as my base on my eyes, I forgot all about these and I've fell back in love with it, they're just as pigmented as the mac ones I think hence why I only own one mac paint pot and nearly all of these 24hr pots. This is one of my favourite shades from their collection though perfect as a colour on its own or for a great base, if your wearing a powder eye shadow on top of this you can guarantee it will stay put all day and no crease lines.

Bourjois Colorband eye shadow and liner 02 brun - I then popped this in the crease and blended it for my life, these are another very easy make up item to have, you can't go wrong with them, colour in your eye and blend, another stunning shade and I have used them as a thin liner on my lash line if I don't fancy an all over colour on my lids, great for on the go.

Rimmel Scandal eyes precision micro eyeliner - One of my favourite liquid eyeliners, the easiest to use imagine your drawing on a piece of paper, that easy, the really thin tip makes it that simple and its so gentle on the eye area so great for reaching the waterline.

Maybelline Lash sensational lash multiplying mascara - This mascara has changed my life, I haven't fell in love with a mascara like this in my life, it just lifts my lashes and gives them drama, curls them and they almost look fake they're that good! I always get complimented on my lashes and its thanks to this genius product.

Rimmel Lasting finish by kate moss nude 45 - I am obsessed with nudes and I am always reaching to this recently, its a your lip but better colour, perfect for those 'no make up make up looks' too.

What are some of your favourite high street make up products?
