Hello lovelies, so thanks to the lovely people voting on my twitter poll you wanted to see an updated skin care routine, so here I have it for you, not only my evening routine but my daily routine also.
So evening skin care with a couple of added extras, I'll start with the extras.
St Ives Fresh skin apricot scrub - I like to exfoliate my face 2 to 3 times a week depending on what sort of a week I'm having skin wise, this exfoliating scrub is almost all gone actually! I love the scent of this and like to apply it when I'm showering as it can get a little messy. I'll double cleanse then on my exfoliating day I'll use this and my skin feels instantly refreshed, smooth, clean and invigorated, alive again! I might try out a different St Ives exfoliator next time I'm out though just to see which one I prefer as I have about one use left of this one now.
Kiehls Rare earth deep pore cleansing masque - This is a new addition to my skincare, I like to switch up my masks now and again but I am in love with this, it really helps keep my pores under control and helps massively through out this weather, my pores are uncontrollable at the minute and make up is literally slipping of my nose like Eddie the eagle , it's too much. This just gives my nose area a really good clean up and it feels so cleansed afterwards and really smooth, it has amazonian white clay inside to help remove all the toxins from the skin and gives your pores a really deep clean to unclog those pores, white clay is also known to help reduce wrinkles.
The Body Shop Chamomile cleansing oil - This is one of my absolute favourite cleansers of all time, this and Liz Earle I always see myself go back towards, it doesn't matter how many cleansers I try those two will always be my favourite, the thing I like best about this cleanser is that its quick and efficient, it takes my make up off in seconds! A quick pump in the hands and rubbed all over my face I might resemble Alice cooper but all the grime is lifted and even the most stubborn of mascaras!
Lush Ultrabland cleanser - I always double cleanse in the evening and this just gets the rest of my make up off and makes my skin feel really clean. It had ingredients in it which helps nourish your skin, calms, softens, hydrates and antiseptic. It is quite a thick product so you only need the tiniest amount but it makes your skin feel amazing.
Pixi Glow tonic - I honestly don't get the hype with this product but I spent nearly £20 on it so I need to use it more, I just use this at night times, it does tighten my skin up a little but I really don't get the hype.
Kiehls Midnight recovery concentrate - I adore this stuff, I don't use it as often in the summer maybe twice a week but my sun loves this through winter, I have combination skin, very oily t-zone but dry cheeks and normal everywhere else, I slather this on on the edge of my face then pat is softly in my t-zone area just to help it a little and keep my skin nourished and keeps it looking youthful.
Soap and Glory Puffy eye attack - This is new to my regime also, I was using the bobbi brown eye cream, I liked it but didn't notice a massive difference so I'm trying out this one now, it soaks into the skin lovely and helps keep my concealer from creasing so much.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour cream - This is the best thing ever, I have it in tube form and lipstick form, I have this next to my bed and in my handbag always! I use this whenever I can, it helps my lips out so much, nourishes them and it's also great for burns, cuts and grazes.
My daily skin care is very easy and pretty straight forward.
T-Zone Deep pore cleansing cream wash - I use this every day, I have for months it helps to combat my blemishes and moves any traces from dirt and grime overnight, there never is anything but we shed skin through out the night, gross I know but even more gross not washing your skin in the morning.
Lush Tea tree toner - Again I adore this stuff, it helps combat my oily t-zone area and closes up my pores a little for the day ahead, its really cooling and refreshing and wakes my skin up in the morning.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua boost sorbet - This is new to my regime, I am always trying new moisturisers and I never ever seem to stick to one, I haven't used one moisturiser and stuck to it at all, I saw this on the body shop website when they had a 40% off offer on and it sounded right up my street, its really refreshing and cooling so again great for waking me up in the morning and also amazing in this weather! It sinks in to my skin lovely and gives a great base for my foundation, I'm really loving it so far.
Then I use the same eye cream and lip balm.
I love trying out new products but I really want to stick to a skin care regime now at my age, I know I'm only 25 but I'm forever searching for that perfect product! I could happily choose my forever double cleansers but everything else I am unsure of, let me know your favourite skin care items in the comments below!
The Body Shop cleansing oil is one of my favourites! It's a shame the Pixi Glow Tonic didn't live up to the hype for you

It's great isn't it hun! I always go back to it, no sadly still struggling to find a toner that actually does anything tbh x
