MY MAKE-UP FAVOURITES FROM 2016

Hello lovelies, so as you can see above, I don't have that many make up favourites as I find something I like and I tend to stick with it, but this year I am going to be switching up my make up and trying to fall in love with my older products again and try more colours other than beige, chocolate and nudes, maybe.

2016 I fell in love with the nude lip, I pretty much cleared out all my bright pink lipsticks and gave them to family and friends and was all about the nudes, these two babies in particular. Mac Cremecup, a touch of pink but very much so on the nude side, it's super pretty and so easy to wear with anything to anything. It is one of their cremesheen finishes so looks very natural and has a slight sheen to the lips, my other lipstick is more on the matte side which gives it a little longer staying power from The Bodyshop in 06 it is a mauve nude and I reached for that so much through out 2016. I'm not stepping away from the nudes, no chance but I want to try my other 40 shades of nude now.

Foundations I was always wearing, L'Oreal Infallible I fell in love with this all over again, don't get me wrong I will always be forever in love with my beloved Rimmel 25 hour but I wanted to try something new and I went back to my L'Oreal Infallible but it had a make over, it worked wonders for my oily t-zone also and has amazing staying power, also near the end of the year Urban Decay bought out this gem and I've loved it ever since, the sleek packaging and the finish it gives my face is just flawless, it can get a little clogged up in bad skin areas but I love it overall. Also my forever love the collection 2000 concealer, if you haven't tried this who are you? This product doesn't even need explaining its the best product you will ever buy under five pounds.

As you can see my love of the Rimmel Contour trio product is real, I used this none stop as soon as the product launched, I wasn't the biggest fan of the highlight at first because I thought it was a little too faint but it's perfect for days you don't want to shine like a disco ball, the contour and blush are just perfect though, my every day go to product and it's almost all gone! For the days I do want to shine like a disco ball I use my Sleek Highlight kit, how gorgeous are these shades? I love the packaging, the buttery powders and they just look amazing on my skin, so so affordable too.

Eye area, a new brow product I tried and instantly fell in love with was the Eyelure brow pomade, I still haven't tried any ABH cosmetics yet, I know all gasp but I saw this for under £9 and wanted to try it, I can't compare it to the ABH but it's amazing, it stays put on my eyebrows all day through blood sweat and tears of a stay at home mom who works through the night and gets to shower around 11pm they are still standing strong! Also stays strong along side like a trooper is my favourite liquid eyeliner from Rimmel, this never budges all day, it gives you an intense black liner and makes my eyes really stand out as soon as I put this on, it's really easy to apply and never dries out. My favourite mascara I discovered this year, I've always been a huge fan of Maybelline mascaras but this one tops them all, not so much a fan of the waterproof one just because its a huge pain in the ass to remove but it just makes my lashes so much longer and so more volumised, I often get asked if I'm wearing fake lashes, no darling Maybelline. Then lastly but not least my Naked 2 palette got a hammering in 2016 especially the shade 'bootycall' that is the best brow highlight you ever did see and the inner corners, yes. This is always my go to palette when I'm stuck on what to do with my eyes, all the perfect nudes you need in your life. I really want to try more colours this year, apparently purples are perfect for green eyes it just scares me, will it suit me? I'm going to try out some new looks either way and maybe put them on here.

What products did you love in 2016? Leave some below, I'd love to know what you loved.
