Whats On My Nails Wednesday #13

Essie - Fiji £7.99

I have wanted to get my hands on this nail polish for I don't know how long, it is finally in my grasp and been on my finger nails! I have tried many dupes but nothing comes close to this at all, Essie nail polishes, you just can't go wrong with them, they have every shade imaginable, amazing cute little duo's, shade names are awesome and they last! I wore this all week with no chips at all even through washing up and standard duties of a working mother, its pretty damn good. It is the palest pink you can get, very neutral that will go with any look/outfit and I think this would suit every skin tone, this makes my hands look a little tanned and compliments them lovely but I also think this would look gorgeous on tanned skin also. You can get Essie very affordable on Fragrance Direct but I could never find Fiji on there so I finally got my hands on it when Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on, well worth the price tag either way.

What is your favorite Essie shade?

Birmingham Blogger Meet Up HAULINNNN

Hello lovelies, I'm not going to go into too much detail about what I bought as they will all have there own separate post apart from Eeyore of-course, every time I go to Birmingham I have to get little man a soft toy to add to his Disney collection, I was torn between Eeyore or Roo but went with Eeyore, finding that Oscar doesn't even like him sadly *inserts cry emoji* no love lost though as I love him and have a snuggle buddy why the other half is working away. He is super soft and fills a bit of an empty space in the big king size bed aha. I have had my eyes on Essie's Fiji and a Tanya Burr nail polish for ages opting for Midnight Sparkles, such a gorgeous sparkly purple shade wait till you see it in an up coming 'whatsonmynailswednesday'. I also went to Birmingham thinking of buying the Estee Lauder Night Serum but that would set me back £48 and meant scrimping on other beauty products so I saved myself a few pennies and opted for the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate, I have heard rave reviews about this product so I really hope it lives up to them, Amy also picked up this so I can't wait to read her review too. I then purchased a few goodies from Lush but they're a surprise you will have to wait and see what's in there but no surprise to you all I did buy another Comfortor as me and Dan love this. Then lastly I got a couple of Mac purchases in Selfridges, I blame Aimee and Clare for the lipstick 'Crosswires' even though it is stunning, you enablers and I always wanted to try the brush cleaner so I finally got one. I am a bit gutted I didn't pick up a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick but there's always time, Aimee picked up some gorgeous bits from Charlottes stand I had major green eyes also Sarah's Selfridges bags that girl knows how to shop! If you saw my Selfridges wishlist you will have saw I didn't get anything of there but I am happy with what I did buy, I did actually try the Chanel foundation out at the counter and it wasn't for me at all, not enough coverage for me, thank god I did 'try before I buy' this time. What would you have bought in Selfridges, anything you have your eye on?

What's On My Nails Wednesday? #4

Hello lovelies, this week I fancied blue on my nails no idea why but an Essie one stuck right out for me whilst I was up in my beauty room the other day so I grabbed it and started painting.

ESSIE - BIKINI SO TEENY

Sky blue shade, so beautiful and I have been wearing this a few days now and no chips what so ever! I think Essie is now one of my new favorite brands as the colour pay of is just amazing, I love the wand and so many gorgeous colours to choose from and even the names of them are adorable. You only need one coat of this but for a good opaque colour I applied two coats, but for when your feeling lazy one coat is more than enough. I also love the packaging of the Essie nail polishes, simple but pretty and practical especially when your looking for the shade you want.

Do you like Essie polishes, if so what's your favorite?

My Nail Varnish Storage.

Hello lovelies, how have you spent your New Years Day? I Wish all the happiness for you all in the New Year and thought I would share with you all today how I store my nail varnishes and tools etc.

Firstly the acrylic stand you see I bought this of a lady who used to do my acrylic nails as she was closing her shop down and starting to work from home again she was selling these for £20 or £25 not too sure and I had always wanted one so picked it up from her. It holds around 60 ish nail polishes maybe a tad more but I have minis on here so can fit more than that at the moment.

By looking at the acrylic nail varnish storage shelves you kind of get the idea what polishes I have on there, OPI, Models Own, Company, Natural Collection, Max Factor, Nails Inc, Topshop, The Ciate mani mini collection from there advent calendar with a full size one also, Essie, Barry M collections from there Gelly ones, Limited edition, Textures, Mattes and Nail effects, Loreal and Maybelline Colour Show. It would be a very lenghtly post if I named all the shades but if you want to know any names just comment below, I'd be happy to help.

I then keep a few in this cute little vintage floral looking tin which I actually bought from Home Bargains at £1.99 or £2.99 Bargain!

This little tin mainly holds Miss Sporty nail polishes, a couple Rimmel, MUA, 2true and a Primark one mainly my cheap and cheerful ones really. Again if you want a more detailed look of them just let me know.

Then lastly the long box is actually the box that held my leopard print GHD's in I really like leopard print and thought it was a great storage idea to hold my other nail polishes. This is currently filled to the brim and if you can't tell already I am a bit of a nail junkie. I am always changing my nails since I stopped getting acrylics done a few months ago. Best thing I ever did, as much as they look beautiful they are so bad for your nails they damage them whatever they say. Plus I get bored really easily of colour's so I like to switch them all the time. So many nail polishes not enough fingers!

In here holds, Revlon, Seche, Hard Candy, Beauty Uk, Seventeen, Me Me Me, No7, Lacura, W7, Technic, Sally Hansen, Essie, Collection, Rimmel and my base and top coats. Like above want to see any particular ones close up or know prices, shades etc just comment below lovelies.

I hide all my tools etc in a little draw underneath all these where since I changed around my beauty room the GHD box now lives in there too as I'm going for a floral, vintage looking beauty room and leopard print wasn't really fitting in with that.

I have used old glossy boxes and baskets to contain tools for my nails etc, I keep one filled with diamonds not real of course, beads, fur effects, stones and nail art decor etc. One with my nail wheels, dotting tools, brushes, cuticle pens and nail art pens. One with nail wraps, my nail polish removers of all kinds, scissors and foot spray cherry one lovely and lastly one filled with my acrylic tips (I never use), nail files, Acrylic nail cutters, normal nail cutters and buffers. From all types of brands some even from the Pound shop! Lastly to not sound too repetitive if you want to know about anything in more detail just comment below and I'll get back to you all as soon as I can.

Hope you liked this and it was some sort of help to all my fellow nail polish junkies or new nail varnish addicts, Hello. I love how I keep mine where do you store your nail polishes?

July's Summery Glossy Box

Hello lovelies, enjoying your weekend? Sadly it's nearly over but I hope everyone has a lovely relaxing Sunday before the rush rush Monday creeps around the corner.

Here is what I got inside my July's Glossy Box.

The boxes just keep getting better by the month in my eyes. Last year I would pray it wouldn't be another bad box but so glad I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back to them as now every month I can't wait to get my box! I run to the door all excited. I love a package (that sounds so wrong).

The packaging of this months glossy box was beautiful! A gorgeous blue with star fish and coral reef on the top and side. An under the sea sort of theme to the box. Summer, Sea and the beach how lovely. The products all fit in with the theme too pretty much.

Look how gorgeous the attention to detail is, for some stupid reason this picture wont turn around? I have tried everything but you get the jist of it. I love the box so much though just wondering what i could store in here?

Here's a close up of the products I received.

Anatomicals - Spray misty for me facial spritz

A hydrating facial mist, what a wonderful product to get in this heat! This smells divine, it smells like the beach and fresh you can strongly smell the lavender with the undertones of peppermint. All good ingredients for your skin, any skin type. Can be used to spray all over your face after you have cleansed or even over your make up to set it into place or just to refresh. I have been loving this in the hot weather also not a bad price tag for a 100ml bottle at £6. I have used quite a bit of the product though and still almost a full bottle left so I'm thinking this will last me through the summer defiantly! Also love the lilac packaging.

Coola Organic Suncare Collection - Mineral Face SPF 20 Unscented

Another must have in this heat! A lovely moisturizer but also protectant from the sun, it's not sticky which is a plus I always find sun creams sticky once you've applied them but this isn't at all. Its lovely, glides over your face like a dream and isn't scented so no nasty scents aroming. I actually love the smell of sun cream but not a big deal it doesn't smell of it, unscented is probably best on your face. You have SPF protection 30 minutes after your application then if you've been swimming or sweating a lot they recommend you re apply every 2 hours. As much as it being a lovely product I don't think a 7ml bottle is enough to judge it's full potential so I don't think I will be repurchasing this bad boy at a hefty £29.99 for a 50 ml bottle. I know you need these things in the hot weather but I try my best not to stay out too much in the heat anyway being so pale and burning so I defiantly wouldn't repurchase sorry Coola!

Alterna Haircare - Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist

I love the cute little bottle we received just the right size to pop in your handbag on the go or a travel size for when your away, this would be a lovely product to take to a beach vacation or any where abroad as it seems a no fuss product you just need to spray on damp hair or dry from your roots to the ends and shape with your fingers for a tousled 'boho' style. I love a natural messy hair day and this looks like my sort of product. I'm still yet to try it out as I have been having a hair make over recently, I've gone from dark brown to blonde! A big change but I'm slowly warming to it but I shall be looking forward to using this product. Be good also I think if you've just gone for a swim to give a bit of texture to your damp locks. It smells gorgeous and I think this will last me a while as you only need a couple of sprays. This retails at £23.00 for a 125ml bottle.

Essie - Sleek sticks

I was excited to receive this product from the Essie range as I've always wanted to try them out. I wouldn't say I was a massive fan of croc but I'll defiantly work with it, maybe pop them on my toes to spruce them up a little. They come in array of colours and designs so I shall see how I get on with these before I repurchase a different design. For one set they retail at £9.99 I have seen these floating around in Boots but you could probably find them in most drug stores. If not the Essie website. I shall pop a picture of these once I've attempted to stick them on my tootsies with a little tutorial.

Then Lastly,

Sleek Make Up - Pout Paint

I think these look very similar to the Lip tars but I cant tell you the different consitency's or anything as I haven't tried any lip tars yet but they do look a little similar. I was so glad i received these colours after seeing some people get blue! But the good thing about these is that you can mix them together to make your own colour up! How cool is that? I see why they are called pout 'paint'. I don't think I would want to mix the colours as I am pretty happy with the gorgeous pink/nude colours I have! But i shall try them out. The fuchsia like pink pout paint is called '154 Mauve Over'  and the nude colour is called '161 Minx' it is a nude with a hint of coral I think. They are thick and creamy in texture but glide smoothly over your lips and dry to a satin finish. They are supposedly meant to last for hours I shall put them to the test and keep you informed. It has a weird scent to it which I can't really put my finger on but its not too bad of a scent. These retail at £4.99 I am really curious to trying out the blue mixing it with another colour and the bright silver! I'd love to read a review of someone who did get those shades.

Over all I am very impressed with my box and there isn't one thing in there which I won't use! So a very god box indeed. Thank you very much Glossy Box. If you don't usually subscribe monthly with glossy box I would really recommend this box to everyone just for all the amazing products you get for the summer all your essentials. It's only £10 a month but if you just want this box subscribe to this months then cancel straight away but I have loved every box so far this year so I am a dedicated glossy box subscriber :)

Have you received this box yet or will be getting one? What products did you love out your box?

April's Glossy box...

Hello lovelies, My April glossy box has finally arrived! Can we all just appreciate this beautiful box...

I absolutely love it! Isn't it just so pretty? The beautiful floral design all made up for spring, which was designed by yes, you guessed it... Peal lowe her love is of vintage and floral things (we have something in common). It is a limited edition box and i will keep this amongst my array of other glossy boxes. Last year i was a bit put of glossy box to be perfectly honest with you i thought there samples were really rubbish and you could get most of them yourself, for free... But this year they have excelled them selves without a doubt! I have loved every box so far this year and loved this one, let me stop babbling and show you whats inside.
Btw, i started of being all springy taking pictures outside on the lovely grass, then it started spitting... typical British weather so the rest of the pictures are inside :)

Firstly,
A -Derma - Intense Repair Lip Balm

I have never personally myself heard of this brand? But it says it has 100% natural origin of rhealba oat milk which is famous for softening and protecting! So we may be onto a winner! A cheaper alternative to my Elizabeth arden 8 hour cream maybe? I shall let you all know once i have tested it out a few times.

NIP + FAB - Dry Skin Fix Body Butter in Mango Smoothie

Sorry it isn't straight on the little bugger kept rolling lol, firstly it smells delicious! It isn't a thick cream i just tested a little on my arm, but it does sink into your skin really fast so a good property there! There's nothing worse then waiting around before getting your jammies on and getting into bed waiting for your sticky moisturiser to sink into your body before bed. So this could be another winner! I will let you all know how i get on with this too, I'm looking forward to having a nice long soak in the bath then rubbing this into my skin before night time :)

YVES ROCHER FRANCE- So Elixir Purple Yves Rocher Eau De Parfum

This smells divine! A really lovely spring floral scent! To me it actually smells really similar to my mums favorite perfume Estee Lauder's Beautiful! Don't know if its just me or on my skin but it does smell really familiar! I am very fond of this though and already thinking of repurchasing! Not like i haven't got enough perfumes... But it is a lovely spring scent and even beautiful for the summer too!

Sleek Make-up - Blush In Flamingo 937

As you can see it looks a very BRIGHT pink and me not being very daring to new bright colours i probably would never have picked this up myself, but as its spring i am feeling a little daring and may even try out a new colour on the cheeks!! It is a beautiful fuchsia pink and i love that it comes with a compact mirror so great on the move! I can not wait to try this out, bring out my rosy cheeks.

Lastly,
ESSIE - Nail Lacquer in Flawless

This is a beautiful spring colour a pastel like pink, as soon as i have wrote this post i am actually going to paint my nails in this failing that as it is coming up to 12 midnight i will deffo be doing them tomorrow! As soon as i have painted them i will upload a pic of them pronto! These are retailed at £7.99 so that is most of your monthly box paid of already!

Really loved my spring box this month and all the lovely things inside! So thankyou very much glossy box!

Nail polish storage.

How i store my nail polishes.

I used this pretty cake stand which i got from home bargains at £4.99 what a bargain!
I have put all my spring colors on the top stand and an array of colors underneath. I think this is a great idea as you can turn it around till you can see a color of your choice. My friend's love this idea and find it easier to get to a color they love.
A random selection of brands from Essie, Topshop, Nails inc, BarryM, Rimmel, Mua and more.
