Birmingham shopping haul.

Hello again lovelies,
On Saturday i was having a really low day and thought the only thing that is going to cheer me up is a shopping trip! You can't beat a bit of retail therapy right? It was a stressfulish time though as i took my 9 month old son and prams and birmingham don't really get on, as the people are quite rude and just stand around and don't move when you continuously say 'excuse me' . So i don't think i will be taking a pram ever again! I didn't even attempt primark. Anyway moaning aside we did have a nice day, i say we, he loved looking at everyone he is so inquisitive and he didn't moan at all bless him. Unlike most men...

So here is an over all view of what i got and i shall show you what i got in each shop.

I do apologise if the picture's aren't great today as i was trying to hold back a puppy whilst taking these.

Firstly i shall share with you all what i got in Next.

Well as i brought Oscar with me thought it was only fair to treat him to some new clothes. I love Next best for baby's clothes there such good quality. Can be abit pricey if your buying in bulk though. I do also like George at Asda for clothes they're cheap and good enough quality i think. But i do love Next the best. These cute grey chinos with the white shirt with grey details i think will go together wonderfully and i love the blue shirt. Can't wait to put them on him.

Then i popped into Lush my favourite shop by far!

In Lush i purchased,

Phoenix Rising - I love the purple glitz to the bath bomb. It smells amazing! But i love strong smells like cinnamon! Its like the typical Christmassy scent but i could happily smell it all year round.

Melting Marshmallow Moment - This cute pink luxury bath melt is another scent heaven! It smells just like 'Snow Fairy' if your not a fan of that sweet like scent i don't think you would like this bath melt but i personally love a good sweet scent. It is also ment to be great for dry skin with its ingredients of almond oil and cocoa butter. I shall look forward to diving into this sweet bath.

Blackberry Bath Bomb - I personally thought this smelt like parma violets but my friend thought it smelt like clean washing so? I think you would have to give it a whiff for yourself to see what you think but on the Lush website it says it has frankincense inside which i don't really know what that smells like. But this bath bomb is said to wash your worries away which i need at the minute! But to be honest any Lush bath bomb for me leaves me feeling chilled and relaxed but i shall write a little review of it once iv tried it.

The woman in lush also kindly gave me a sample of there R&B leave in moisturiser it has a thick substance but she said i would only need the tiniest bit to rub into the bottoms of my hair so curious to see what this will do for my locks.

I then ventured into Debenhams.

I finally got an Urban Decay palette! The naked palette 2 to be precise. Oh my god i am in love! It is so pigmented i was so tight about spending £36 on this palette as i thought wow thats pricey for some eye shadows. But they are beautiful colours, super pigmented with an array of great shades with different finishes of shimmer, glitter and matte for a range of sultry looks.  I have done swatches from the start of the palette to finish. I even like the names of the shades. My favourite being 'Booty Call' cheeky. I will love putting 'Foxy' 'YDK' and 'Snakebite' together for a gorgeous smoky eye. I shall do a full review of this product in the future with some smoky eye pictures to follow. But just so glad i took the plunge and brought this, i was torn between this and the first naked palette but my friend said it dos contain some colours from the first palette so thought i would get this one who know's i may get the other one in the future once my bank balance is healthy again haha.

Then I stepped into House of Fraser

I have been wanting to try the Origins drink up mask for so long so glad i finally got it but as the Origins drink up mask is £20 alone they had a gift offer on for £28 with the drink up mask and modern friction natures gentle dermabrasion with a cute little facial sponge. I also love the cute box it comes in!

I shall be using both of these tonight once iv finished this post it has killed me not to try them straight away but was having bloggers problems with lighting etc with the poor weather yesterday so patiently waited till i took a half decent photo aren't i good? I shall let you know how i got on with both products.

I then thought i would try out a benefit kit. I was mooching around for a bit thinking what shall i get from benefit as i am quite a virgin to there products i have only ever tried there porefessional sample i got in a magazine and wasn't that excited about it and thought there make up range was pricey. But i have wanted to try out there foundation so thought this was the best kit to get...

The packaging is just beautiful the book like feature to it. As well as wanting to try out the foundation i also wanted to see if the concealer was any good too. So i hope it is 'flawless' all shall be revealed in the near future lovelies. I got it in the shade medium 'sand' as I am really pale like Casper but i like some colour to my skin, i blend it really well though so I don't look like a clown or have an awful foundation line, that's the worst! I have tried the porefessional before so i know what to expect from that and i have always been a bit scared of powder as i have dry skin i never use powder, is that bad? I just put my foundation on, concealer then go straight into bronzer and blush and my make up still stays put but i am determined to try this powder out.

This kit costs £25.50 - How to look the best at everything

Before i went anywhere else it was a milk stop for Oscar so the place we was closest to after House Of Fraser was Pret so as he had his milk thought i would treat myself to a cheeky mocha. It was beautiful especially as i added a chocolate brownie for a snack, yummy.

I then lastly delved into Superdrug before the train home.

I got two things which i really wanted to try out then just two random add ons. The two things that i really wanted to get was the Sally Hansen Insta Dry Anti chip top coat! I have heard so many good reviews so excited to try it out as i am very impatient when it comes to waiting for nails to dry and been looking for something new from my Avon nail dry freeze spray. So shall write a mini review of this too.

Secondly i really wanted a Sleek cheek palette and this is just a gorgeous trio of coraly pink colours, matte and shimmer. So universal for different looks you want to try.

In life the coral looks more orange and a bit scary but i would only apply a thin layer on my face anyway i wouldn't want to sport an Umpa Lumpa. All the colours are gorgeous though the trio palette is called 'Lace' you can mooch through the palettes here.

Here are some swatches

As you can see very pigmented and good value! £10

I then randomly picked up two other products, just a simple nail varnish remover the one where you can pop your finger in and twist away to your hearts content until all the polish has been removed i prefer these to using cotton pads so much easier! The only thing i would recommend is not using it for glitter polishes or really dark polishes or you will find it ruins it.

I then picked up a new loreal formula lipstick/lipstain. Specifically called Glam Shine Stain Splash. I will be honest i was drawn to this product with the pretty packaging and i heard they are a dupe to a YSL product so why not try it right? I got it in the shade 200 'Princess' another name i like for the product. It is a redish coral like colour. Quite sheer but buildable. I also love the heart shaped wand/applicator it comes with, super easy to just swipe over your lips.

So that's my shopping trip over, for now anyway haha! Hope you liked at least one of my products i brought. Or can tell me a bit more about the product before i try them if you have them yourselves?

Monday tomorrow but don't be sad make Monday a good day!

I must pick up that bath bomb, Melting Marshmallow Moment - I love snow fairy and get it every year for Christmas but it's run out at the moment, I miss it!

Love the Urban Decay palette, lovely shades.

I also have that same Sleek blush, it's lovely and not too bright if you are careful, I thought the same thing when I opened it... woah! But it's fine :)
