CELEBRATING 80 YEARS OF No7

Hello lovelies, so the other day me and my Nan was having our weekly browse through the town, believe me there isn't much to browse in our town but we always end up spending far too much money. We are the type of people to go in home bargains for one thing and come out with lots of things we don't really need, but on this particular day we stumbled into Boots as she needed to pick up her prescription and said she fancied a new mascara, me being the great beauty blogger aha I helped her out but we spotted this great No7 bargain...

If you buy any two products from No7 you get a free gold package that contains a mini eyeshadow, mini mascara and a skin illuminator AND a voucher for a lipstick of your choice! Us being the cheap skates just went for the cheapest option the nail polishes as there only £6 each so thats £12 for two and the lipsticks alone are just under £10 so your literally paying about £2 for all the fabulous contents, what was even better was my nan treated me so it cost me nothing ha. I would definitely think about purchasing this though, if not for yourself this would make one amazing christmas or birthday present for anyone who loves their make-up or No7 in general.

I'm even tempted to pick up two more nail varnishes just to get another free lipstick, the mini's will make great gifts in beauty hampers I like to make over christmas, the best deal N07 have ever come up with but of course to celebrate a fantastic 80 years of there hard work. I picked up the nail varnish shades So Simple and Highland Mist, So simple is a gorgeous very nude shade and Highland mist is more of a mavey nude, I love them both. Then it took me ages to pick a lipstick as there were so many to choose from but I thought I would pick a nice new shade for Autumn so I got Ginger rose, a gorgeous orangey toned lipstick I think perfect for autumn/winter and it was from the moisture drench range so it has moisturising properties and spf in there so can't wait to rock that in the colder months.

Have you gotten round to picking up this fantastic offer yet?!

My Make-Up Collection - Mascaras.

Hello lovelies, I'm going to finish of this week with my Mascara collection and start again next week carrying on my collection starting with lip products, there is a lot to say the least. I really should have planned this out more aha, I always jump into the deep end, but its all fun.
Mascaras

My mascaras live in a Ted Baker tin mug that Dan didn't appreciate for a Christmas present of a relative last year so me and my mascaras did. I like being able to see all of them and easy access.

Ok, so I have a bit of an unhealthy collection of mascaras, but like hunting for your holy grail foundation, mascara comes next for me. My vitals, foundation and mascara as I think all make up looks NEED mascara and you need to find the one that's perfect for you right? I also love experimenting with new brands and just generally trying out new products. I will start with my favorite mascaras though,

Yves Rocher - Sexy Pulp Mascara, it is not here as I have used it up but it is my ultimate favorite over any brand, formulation ever I'll link it HERE. I have not found another one like it, I am planning to repurchase it as I always have done but I do really need to make my way through these first as it is silly buying any more right now. This is my collection after throwing loads away too. It has a gorgeous curved brush which hugs to your lashes to give you volume and and thicken without clumping at all, it's long wearing and is just my favorite it is also half price at the moment, I would highly recommend this mascara to anyone out there.
Benefit - They're Real mascara, my high end favorite which I also need to repurchase the bigger size of but there is no need at the moment as I have three mini's which is perfect, one for nights out, one for my make up bag and one to stay up on my dressing table. I adore the packaging of this to start with and the brush has bristles all around the brush so you can get into every crook and cranny which is good for them hard reach areas. It really does make you look like your wearing fake eyelashes as it instantly lengthens your lashes with lots of volume, I always get complimented when I wear this and ask what I'm wearing. It's jet black and really opens up your eyes, if you do have naturally very long lashes I probably wouldn't recommend this as it might clump your lashes but it doesn't clump mine.
Maybelline - The Colossal Volum' Express smokey eyes mascara, my favorite drug store mascara, I used to use this in high school, obviously not the same packaging or formula but very similar. a collagen enriched formula with khol effects to give you extra pigmentation and a sultry look. It makes my eyelashes look fab, volumises and doesn't clump, I wear this every day at the minute.

I will get the least liked out the way next,

Jelly Pong Pong - Fairy Lashes mascara, the packaging and the name I love! But the formula itself, not so much love for. It clumps ever so easy and it's just so wet and messy. I really want to like it I may just let it dry out and hope it will grow on me if not it will have to go to mascara heaven.
Soap and Glory - Thick and Fast mascara, I adore the brush to this but again it is very wet and messy. I am surprised because I do see a lot of rave reviews on this mascara but it just doesn't work for me, I might let this dry out also though and I could be proven wrong it just clumped all my lashes and was very messy to apply. Then lastly, Mac - Zoom Fast Black Lash mascara, I have a love hate relationship with this mascara, it makes my lashes look amazing, volumised etc and lengthens but it leaves so much icky black gunk in my eyes for ages it just keeps re appearing so I have stayed clear from it for abit but it does make my lashes look fab, I'm really unsure what to do with this.

Mascaras that are great for lengthening, my two favorites already mentioned plus, Gosh - Growth Mascara, does it exactly what it says on the tin/tube. It has the tiniest bristles that really grab your lashes and extend them, they instantly look longer after one coat and again after another. It contains 5% Sympeptide which is the active growth ingredient, the rubber brush makes your eyelashes look dense also and doesn't give you those nasty spider leg looking lashes with the growth.
All of the Seventeen Mascaras add length and volume, 17 Dolled Up, 17 Blow Out and 17 Va Va Voom, I love the packaging of the 17 mascaras too, quirky, original and colourful, very eye catching. They are cheap and cheerful mascaras. I was lucky enough to win all my 17 mascaras in a twitter competition reviewed HERE. Model Co - Fibre Lashxtend extreme black lengthening mascara, firstly I love that this has a little mirror on the back, perfect for on the go for any touch ups or your getting ready on the train to work. It is quite a dry mascara compared to others but it does lengthen your lashes and I prefer drier mascaras to the really wet ones I find it defines your eyes more. Then lastly for lengthening I like the Barry M - Lash Vegas, this also volumises as it lengthens, it has an hour glass wand that curves your lashes and makes them stand out, a lot of people rave about this and it's not a lot of pennies at all. I find drugstore mascaras are better than high end in my opinion, I could happily carry on in life with just drugstore mascaras, I would miss my Benefit one a bit but I just think the drugstore has so much more to offer and its affordable.

Mascaras that are great for volume, L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Diamantissime mascara, I love this for nights out as it has shimmer inside to make your eyelashes sparkle but it is very subtle, you don't look like a disco ball or anything, it gives my lashes a lot of volume and I love the sparkly tube. L'Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga mascara, this is loved and hated over the blogosphere, I personally love it! The packaging also, it is great for volumising your lashes and wide open. Max Factor - False Lash Effect Waterproof mascara, I got this free in one of those Christmas boxes when you spend £12 or £15 on that brand. I love Max Factor mascaras, there brilliant for volumising your lashes also lengthening too, I'm not a huge waterproof mascara wearer but there great for nights out, they stay put and when your all hot and bothered from dancing the night away you have no panda eyes! I love this mascara and all the Max factor's range to be honest I'd be happy with any of them. Mally - Volumizing Mascara, I got this in a set on a QVC offer, I was new to Mally and thought why not give it a go, I love there concealer and mascara! It volumises and lengthens but makes my lashes look very natural at the same time it is great for every day wear. Again all the 17 ones are great at giving your lashes volume as well as lengthening.

Great for bottom lashes, Clinique - High Impact mascara, tiny bristles perfect for bottom lashes, leaves no clumps or smudges and stays put all day. I find smaller bristles and brushes alot easier to apply on my bottom lashes or I get myself in a right mess, hello Beetlejuice. No7 - Extreme length waterproof mascara, another smaller bristle brush that is rubber also. I like using this on nights out or if I'm going somewhere nice do to the fact it's waterproof to avoid black smudgy under eyes and it gives them length also.

I think I have pretty much summed them all up, well done if you got through all of that I just want to make it easier for you to understand the qualities of them all or just my opinion on them all. If you do want to see pictures of the wands just let me know in the comments below or want to know more about a specific one.
What is your most used mascara that you couldn't live without?

My Make-Up Collection - Primers and Concealers.

Hello lovelies continuing my collection, today I have for you my primers and concealer collection.
Primers -

I don't have many primers and there all diddy sizes as I have not long been a primer user, terrible beauty blogger right? I have only just learnt what a big impact a primer does have on you, especially if your on a night out or going somewhere nice for the day and you want your make up to still look great and untouched. I have already been loving Mac Prep and Prime, I love the silky texture to it and it keeps my face put through out the day and afternoon, also takes away any redness I have which is usually around the bottom of my nose, I'm seriously contemplating purchasing the full size of this or the drugstore alternative No7 Airbrush away primer, this has the same silly texture and keeps my make up put all throughout the day and evening. It also feels hydrating on my skin and works as a moisturiser.

I'm still yet to try the Monu one I have in my collection and a bit worried to use an illuminating one as I'm worried it will make me look shiny and greasy etc. But I will have a play around with it soon, I love the Pore fessional primer from Benefit, need I say more being a top seller and I noticed how much it made a difference on my large pores all over my nose it definitely minimised them and the silky texture that is not at all greasy it feels so lovely and soft on my skin.

I need some recommendations for a good primer though as I am new to the primer game, leave me your recommendations in the comment's below please lovelies.

Concealers

I'll start with my favorites, Collection lasting perfection, I have them in shades 1 and 2, I use 1 under my eyes as it instantly makes me look alert and awake and banishes dark circles. I use shade 2 to cover up blemishes, it's thick creamy consistency helps covering up any old blemish from tiny to humongous, it's cheap and very cheerful. My other favorite is a recent purchase, Mac Studio finish spf35 concealer, also very creamy thick texture it covers up like a dream and is perfect for under my eyes, I finally found a concealer that doesn't crease under my eyes! I have hit pan on my Mally Concealer cancellation system, it is a concealer and powder in one duo, it is creamy but doesn't cake at all, it covers dark circles, blemishes and the translucent powder sets it all. I am considering re purchasing this after I'm done with the rest as I have thoroughly loved it and always get a bargain with Mally over at QVC. The No7 concealers I have are a bit too dark for me so I'm considering giving these to my mum as I am so pale and I found these quite drying on my skin for some reason. I find the Clinique Airbrush concealer works perfectly under your eyes to make your eyes look bright and bushy tailed but didn't work great covering up blemishes it also looks lovely on your brow bone. I seem to have a love and hate relationship with the Benefit Boing concealer and the Seventeen Phwoar paint concealer, there both great concealers but hit and miss for me. I wouldn't miss them compared to my Collection and Mac one at all but I do also like them. They do there job of covering up blemishes and covering my under eye circles I just don't favorite them at all. Then lastly on a budget concealers W7 Camouflage kit concealer, five shades for you to pick and choose from to get your desired shade, it isn't magnificent at covering up lots of blemishes and scaring etc but it does cover up light blemishes and red areas. It only cost me about £4 but I see this on Ebay and amazon for under £2, it's worth adding to your collection, I would suggest this to younger girls or girls who don't need that much concealer as it is great to add to your make up collection and wont break your bank balance aswell as not breaking the bank we have MUA Cover and Conceal wand, again works great for under your eyes but not brilliant at covering blemishes, only £1.50 though it lasts a while for the small price tag you can't really expect miracles.

What are your favorite primers and concealers, I'd love to know in the comments below.

Boots Sales I Whipped up.

Hello lovelies, have any of you took advantage of the Boots sales yet? 1/2 price on all gifts from the Christmas lot, I picked up a few.

Firstly apologies for the appalling pictures, I searched forever online for these gift sets because un-blogger like of me I just couldn't wait to photograph my own products I ripped all the boxes open and couldn't wait to try things out and as Boots no longer keep things online which they have sold out it took me a while to find pictures of the products, sorry! Here is what I picked up any how.

Soap & Glory - Washful Thinking ; A beautifying duo for dry hands which you get a hand wash and hand cream. Although I own several hand creams around the house of hand food I LOVE the smell of the hand wash and as it went from £10 to £5 I couldn't resist picking this up.

Soap & Glory - Face time ;  The box lured me in it just looked really pretty. I love Soap & Glory skincare so was keen to try this out! I am already loving the lip balm you get inside amongst some 3-in-1 daily purifying wipes, anti puffiness eye cream and a spf bb cream! I shall be testing these out and reviewing them all for you. A steal from £25 to £12.50!

Dove - Complete Pampering Gift Set ; I buy this my mum every year without fail for Christmas she loves Dove. It smells divine and does leave your skin feeling so soft and nourished. At £15 I never usually buy myself this but I do like to pick one up in the sale! £7.50 is a bargain for all the bath time goodies you get inside. I have been loving the body lotion inside at the moment so luxurious feeling for so cheap.

No7 - Fingers and Toes Gift Set ;  In case you don't already know me, I am a massive nail polish junkie, I think I have nail varnish problems! But I just can't resist them or a bargain. I also loved the hand saviour you get inside as I tried it out once from a friend of mine and its an exfoliator for your hands which makes them feel amazingly soft and you get a foot balm in to which now my feet are feeling pretty damn pampered right now. A great set to get honestly especially from £20 to £10!

No7 - Skincare treats Gift Set ; I got myself this last year in the sale. I love No7 hot cloth cleanser makes my skin feel lovely and soft amongst a day and night cream, head band a muslin cloth there muslin cloths are great too to get at all the grime of your face gently.

I have loved my sales from Boots and my lovely Boyfriend actually treated me to all this in two different go's, I was going in to spend my Boots points but he wouldn't have any of it, lucky me! Now I have £30.50 on my boots card to treat myself with any time. As I'm on a spending ban soon this will be good if I flake at some point or is that cheating?! Say no...

Did you pick up anything out the Boots Sales? If so link below!

NO7 Boots summer offer

Hello lovelies, hurray for the rain going again, although I don't like the weather too hot I don't like the rain either because it means your stuck in the house. Not that that's a bad thing all the time but here is also a post to cheer you up if you love the brand No7.
If you just buy 2 beauty products from the No7 range in Boots you get a free beauty bag full of cosmetics. I just couldn't miss this great offer.

Above is the free beauty bag you get full of goodies worth £30, but to get this all you need to do is buy 2 No7 beauty products and this is what I brought...

I picked up,

No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour - I picked this nail polish up in the shade cheeky chops, what a gorgeous bright prink. Very rich pigmentation, quick drying effect with a glossy finish. This retails at £6.00 which is quite pricey for a polish that I never normally would purchase but i did and looking forward to its chip factor! The brush is a decent size so looks like it will glide over the nail just nicely.

No7 Natural Blush Tint Powder - I got this in the shade coral flush, it is a gorgeous blusher not strong in pigmentation but just right. Coraly pink notes fluttering on your cheeks would look perfect for day or night on any skin tone I think. It comes in nice compact packaging too so easier enough to slip in to your make up or travel bag. This costs £8.00 in Boots.

Considering all I spent was £14 to get a free gift worth £30 is a pretty good deal to me.

I am happy with my purchases but even happier when I saw what was inside my beauty bag...

Check out the free goodies.

No7 Airbrush Away Primer - A hypo-allergenic primer that magics away signs of ageing noticeable signs straight away it says. It smooths out fine lines, wrinkles, puts uneven skin tones and pores into a soft focus. I am looking forward to trying this with my troubled pores at the minute to see how much of a difference this makes. For 30ml this retails at £19.50 that is very pricey for my price ranges but I shall put it to the test to see if its worth that pricey tag.

No7 Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser - I recieved the sample in shade Fair Medium, it says it will make you achieve natural skin perfecting colour with this sheer, light diffusing tinted moisturiser that delivers all day hydration and protection. Once I swatched some on my hand I thought it looked too dark then I rubbed it in and it was a perfect match. I love tinted moisturisers in the hot weather as there so light and better for your skin. So I shall be testing this out in the morning. This retails at £11.50 not too bad of a price tag.

A swatch and partially blended.

No7 Extreme Length Waterproof Mascara - The wand on this mascara looks very intriguing! I'm looking forward to if it gives me extra length, I love length in my lashes but I also love thick colour to them too. But I'm glad this doesn't clump at least it says it shouldn't. I never buy waterproof mascara but I do think there practical in the heat and for holidays and this dinky size will be perfect to slip in your beach bag or your make up bag. Shall do a before and after picture for you. This retails at £12.50.

No7 High Shine SPF15 Lipgloss - I am not a huge fan of this lip gloss after trying it quickly on my lips, its one of those sticky lip gloss textures and I really don't like that. But the colour is so pretty it is coral kiss a beautiful coraly pink with quite a sheer finish but enough to give your lips a flush of colour. This will be perfect for my nan she loves her lip glosses and lip sticks so I shall gift this to her. It retails at £8.50 which I think is pricey for a lip gloss especially when its not a nice enough texture unless its just my personal preference.

The swatch looks as if it is very pigmented but once its applied to the lips it is quite sheer.

No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow - I got this in the shade lilac shine and that it is, a beautiful lilac shimmer shadow. I never usually wear lilac's but I am stepping out of my neutral comfort zone and testing out new colours on my eyes so I shall look forward to making a look out of this. In a cute compact packaging too that wouldn't take up any room in your make up bag! This retails at £7.00 pigmented and gorgeous colour so not a bad price tag.

After receiving all these goodies I even love the clear beauty bag with flashes of colours it all comes in which I shall be using to store my cosmetics in.

I think its a gorgeous little bag with enough space to fit in lots of your cosmetic goodness!

Has anyone else out there indulged in this offer or thinking about it now?
I really think its a great offer and your summer cosmetic essentials inside even a good beauty starter pack! All you have to do is purchase two beauty products why not treat yourself :)
