Hello loveleis, today I am going to talk to you about Lawson's first moments trying new foods he hadn't tried before, I'm so mad though HiPP very kindly sent me a go pro camera but I wiped all the footage from the first films I ever did, I could of cried when I come to edit all this but have one when he was a bit younger having scrambled egg on toast then trying cucumber for the first time, he's pretty expressionless when it comes to trying new foods he either smiles or pulls his face and most of the time he smiles because he loves his grub!
Lawson's favourite foods are bananas, scrambled egg with toast, chicken, strawberries and chocolate rice cakes he also loves all the food we get sent from HiPP, he devoured the creamy vegetable lasagna from them yesterday and saved some room for one of their chocolate and vanilla puddings! They look so good I could eat them myself.
The fruits and vegetables used in the HiPP vouchers and jars are grown in dedicated organic farms, they are left there to ripen naturally and harvested at there plumpest and sweetest. Those organic ingredients are then gently steam cooked to protect the nutrients and keep every ounce of flavour to provide babies with the best possible way to weaning and beyond. At HiPP organic, they only add sugars to recipes that you would add sugar to if you were preparing recipes yourself such as custard, they control all the amounts of sugars that go into their baby foods carefully as its important savoury foods do not contain hidden sugars from fruit.
I think Lawson has a well balanced diet, he loves his fruit and vegetables and always made that important from the start because it is very important to five them a range variety of foods so they don't just stick to the ones you like, the more you persevere now the more you will be thankful for later and they will be more adventurous eaters, nothing worse than a fussy baby eater. I was exactly the same with my first and he eats pretty much anything especially loving his fruit and vegetables I'm very lucky. Lawson even loves tomatoes and no one likes them in our house. I'm really sad I lost the footage but hope you can see a bit how he reacted to some of his first tastes.
