MY SPRING LIP PICKS

Hello lovelies, so I've been switching up my nudes and bringing a bit of colour to my lips now the sun has made an appearance. I am loving pinks and corals, when I put the pinks away I forget how much I like them when I bring them back out again, shopping your stash is so good because you actually forget what gems you own, anyway here are some of my favourite spring lip picks...

Nars Satin lip pencil Lodhi £19.00 - So sorry I wrongly spelt it in the pictures above, having a moment clearly! This is a gorgeous coral lip pencil, glides on like a dream so soft, satin like finish and because it is a pencil like lipstick it makes it much easier to apply, I draw around my lip line then simply fill it in, it leaves a little stain which I like because I know it will last me a while. It is enriched with vitamins and great colour pay off, couldn't recommend the cars lip pencils enough to anyone, the matte ones are awesome too for even more long wearing.

Maybelline Color sensational rebel bouqet Peach poppy £6.99 - If your after a subtle pink/coral this is a gorgeous peach so somewhere a bit in-between, creamy texture and lasts a good few hours on the lips, it is enriched with honey nectar and comes in cute packaging. I love this lipstick if I'm going for a really smokey eye so I can go a bit more subtle on the lips.

Topshop Ooh La La £8.00 - I can't find this online? I didn't realised they stopped doing it, a shame because its a gorgeous orangey coral, lasts a long time and how cute are Topshops packaging? It has quite a matte finish to it and can be quite drying if your lips weren't in great condition before you apply so I'd apply some lip balm beforehand just on the safe side but beautiful colour.

Revlon Ultra hd lipstick Hibiscus £7.99 - Such a lovely lipstick, lots of colour but an effortless and weightless fell to it, it feels like your putting on a lip balm but with high pigmentation colour pay of with it, glides on lovely and smells divine! They come in such a gorgeous range of colours a perfect shade for anyone, this is a stunning orange shade perfect for the warmer months ahead.

Mac Cremesheen Crosswires £15.50 - Again if you love pinks/corals this is a perfect shade for you its a pinky orange like lipstick, gorgeous finish on the lips a bit of a sheen to it making your lips look lovely, this is such a versatile shade you could wear this all through out the day on going to a night time look and just smoke your eyes up so perfect for office gals or anyone going for drinks straight after work or the school run? You can't really go wrong with Mac and lipsticks I love getting this shade back out for spring, I have been wearing all my nude ones out.

Topshop Innocent £8.00 - I actually got this when they had some limited edition packaging, I can't for life of me think what it was for but the packaging sold me, I wasn't aware they sold this shade in the normal packaging but I'm glad its available if I need it, its a gorgeous pale pink, I don't think it would be liked by really fair skinned people but I love it, a matte like finish but not drying at all like my other Topshop lipstick.

Mac Amplified Vegas Volt £15.50 - My favorite of them all a gorgeous coral, amplified creme it feels so nice on my lips it lasts hours and I feel sassy as hell in it. Not much more I can say about this other than you all need it in your life, I think this would literally suit everyone!

What are your favourite lip colours in spring?

  1. I can't believe I've never tried out the Topshop lipsticks and the limited edition one is just beautiful. I'm usually one to stick to my faithful lip shades but I'm going to try out some different shades this year.
