OFFICE INSPO WITH LOVE THE SALES

Hello lovelies, so I don't even know if I've done an update post in a while, if I haven't I will be filling you all in but we brought our house this year and now planning our extension, all the rooms are being sorted and I'm turning our old dumping ground back room into an office before the extension takes place so I thought I would do a little wish list of things I'd love to have in my office using the lovely guys at Love the Sales website as they very generously gifted me some skin care items to use.

WHY DO WE BLOG?

Hello lovelies, I was curious to know why people actually blog so I asked #Thegirlgang (Created by a lovely friend of mine Jemma) ladies why they blog to see why and I thought I would share with you also why I blogged and how it all started.

DIY'ING OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD? BEWARE OF THE HIDDEN DANGERS

Hello lovelies, so today I have for you a different type of post, DIY? I love a bit of sprucing up, re decorating but I'm never one for actually building things, anything that needs electrical equipment or a hammer, it could be dangerous! I nearly burst a pipe last time I tried to nail a plaque on the wall, my bad. I did however though manage to build some storage for the children's playroom ready for after Christmas, more storage! Do you plan on doing some DIY over the Christmas period? Whether it be fixing shelves, storage units or a new project for the new year. I have some tips to make sure you are safe.

#GIRLPOWER GIRLS I'M LOVING LATELY

Hello lovelies, it is a very stressful time and everyone has turned into the house of commons on all social media, so today I thought I would share some love to some amazing girls I know or just love through the power of the internet.

OUTFITS WITH PINKCLOVE | PLUS SIZE FASHION

Hello lovelies, I'm super nervous about posting this as I'm not 100% confident at all with my plus size body but the lovely team from Pink Clove sent me some gorgeous pieces from their new range collection so I had to share them with you. Pink clove clothes range from a size 16-28 and actually have gorgeous clothes for us bigger women! I find it so hard to get clothes that fit me and suit my shape and give the illusion of making me look a little slimmer than I am and actually having some sort of style to it, I haven't got any style, I feel I'm too fat to be stylish at the minute, I throw on what fits me and is comfortable. I have joined slimming world, starting to eat healthier and exercise more so my confidence is slowly coming back but I am super impressed with the range from Pink Clove from tops to jeans, dresses, playsuits and more. I thought I would break it down to three outfit choices of mine casual, day outfit and night outfit.

'No make up make up'

Hello lovelies, I still feel totally cringe worthy when I upload a fashion post but I need to embrace my curves and mummy fashion aha, as you cans see I don't really have 'style' I just dress to be comfortable. I also did this for a way to see how far I've come, I'm getting married next year and I need to be able to fit in the wedding dress of my dreams so I really need to eat better and work out more, posting pictures of me will keep the motivation going. I feel ridiculously huge on these pictures but this kimono is the most comfiest thing I have ever bought myself and it keeps you so so warm! My mother in law bought me my boots after Christmas and I'm in love with them, they are so comfy and easy to clean and have good grip on the slippy roads. I hope to get more photo savvy in my future outfit posts and hope one day I will take a photo of myself and think wow girl you did good, you've lost all that weight and you look good!

I went for the 'no make up make up' look using affordable brands if anyone wants a post on that?

MY LITTLE BOX | SEPTEMBER

Septembers My Little 'Fashion' Box £11 pcm

Hello lovelies, I thought I would share with you Septembers 'my little box' as it's amazing! This is by far the best monthly subscription box I've signed myself up too. (Not at all because it has alcohol in it, thats a one off) It has a great arrangement of lifestyle pieces with some beauty bits thrown in too, perfect.

In this months box I got a gorgeous blue scarf perfect for autumn with a beautiful print on it, they don't give you all the prices of the items in the box but this is 24 euros alone! It is an american vintage scarf. You also got some cute little nail art stickers, I'm not the biggest fan of these but I will try and have a little play around with them or maybe treat my friends to a mani.

Obviously the alcohol, not only did they supply me with this, they put in a little cocktail book! How sweet, I love the sound of the strawberry mint, i'll let you all know how that went down. An exciting product I thought to try was the La Roche-Posay BB cream apparently its great for sensitive skin and I do suffer with sensitive skin in the colder months so can't wait to try this out and hoping it has pretty good coverage too. Another beauty product we got in there was a gorgeous red lip colour it feels like a lipgloss but dries like a lipstick, the formula feels lovely and I love rocking a red in winter, I can't wait to wear this one as its so stunning I will have to get a review up of it for you all.

Last but definitely not least we got a mini hairspray by Kerastase, I always hear good things about this brand and looking forward to trying out this extra strong hold hair spray, I love mini's to throw in your bag or perfect for weekends away, I'll have to hide this from the fella though as he keeps robbing my hairspray at the moment or maybe even give a review from a mans point of view? Interesting.

All of the contents in the box cost a lot more than £11 so I definitely got my moneys worth, but its the excitement of not knowing what your going to get and I actually use the things I receive in these boxes as before when I subscribed to beauty boxes they were just products being stored and getting no use at all, I couldn't recommend this box enough to you if you love lifestyle bits and some beauty things. I also love how they give you a cute little card with a message on, I have all of my previous ones in frames around my house, super excited to try all these new things, I'll let you know what I think of them later.

Are you subscribed to my little box or any other boxes?

T-SHIRT - ZARA
LEGGINGS - ZARA

Hello lovelies, I thought I would start doing joint fashion posts of the boys as I only dedicate one day to my beautiful boys and have lots of upcoming posts for you all. I absolutely adore Lawsons cute little watermelon outfit, Zara's clothes are so soft and look so comfortable for him and the leggings are just too funky! I got an absolute bargain in TKMaxx for Oscar, Ralph Lauren tops are usually about £45 I paid just under £17 absolute bargain! Again he looks super comfy in the brown shorts, I love the cream detailing and they match perfectly with his Nike blazers.

What do you think to my gorgeous little monkeys outfits?

ZIGZAGS IN THE GARDEN OOTD | FASHION

TOP - Newlook
SKIRT - Dorothy Perkins
SHOES - Newlook
BRACELET & CHARMS - Pandora
MIDI RINGS - Topshop
CHIPPED NAIL POLISH - Nails Inc in Uptown
LIPSTICK - Revlon Ultra HD in Rose

Hello lovelies, I always cack my pants when posting a fashion post, I'm no supermodel as you can tell, my posing is awkward and my weight gain puts me off but everyone keeps kindly reminding me my baby is only 8 weeks old but this will be a great way to see my weight loss journey and show of my more curvier body in clothes I love. I love this outfit on a summers day, the skirt is so light and so is the top it also has a cut out back but you can't see that tucked into my skirt so they go great with high waisted jeans also I think. I can't stand chipped nail polish but I hadn't done an ootd post in ages and didn't have time to re paint my nails before hand so I just went with it, sincere apologies.

What do you think to my ootd, do I look mummsy?

MUMMY MONDAY | BROTHERLY FASHION

Oscar -

JACKET - Tesco F&F
POLO SHIRT - ZARA
CHINOS - M&S
SHOES - PEACOCKS

Lawson -

T-SHIRT - ZARA
LEGGINGS - BABY BAKER
FLUFFY SOCKS - NEXT

Hello lovelies cuteness overload or what?! When I went to Birmingham last week like I mentioned in my previous post I could not help but treat the boys, when I went into Debenhams I noticed they had a pretty good sale on the designer clothes so couldn't resist, I got Oscar and Lawson a couple of bits from the baby baker range at Ted Baker I wanted it all, those leggings Lawson is wearing though how adorable and they? They also go perfectly with his Zara top, the clothing at Zara feels so soft, washes well and lasts a long while.

I also think Oscar looks super handsome in the chinos and polo shirt combo, his shoes are well loved as you can tell but very comfy and kids and comfy go well together I think. I actually found the jacket upstairs when I was sorting through his old clothes its a size 18-24 months but still just about fits him, Tesco do some lovely clothes at great prices I actually think most supermarkets stock great clothing at an affordable price range.

Hope you enjoyed this joint fashion post, please comment if you'd prefer them joint or split.

BEAUTY BITS AND BOBS

Hello lovelies, I know my blog seems very mumsy at the moment, babies over load! But I am trying to keep up to date with my beauty posts too and hopefully when I'm feeling a bit more confident I will post some fashion posts soon too. I went to Birmingham last week mainly to buy myself some new clothes but ended up kitting the boys out instead but I did get my hands on a couple of new beauty releases and some Topshop beauty bits!

I have seen the Topshop Lip Ombre out for a bit and been very curious by it, I was tempted to pick them all up when I went in the store but perplex got my full attention so popped that in my basket, it has a gorgeous fuchsia pink with a peachy orange shade, I can't wait to have a play with that, then I picked up some invisibobbles as these are great for your hair and I loved the colour of them and of course couldn't leave without getting any of the five year celebration bits, the gold packaging is just stunning! I picked up the nail polish in shade adrenalin and the lipstick innocent, the lipstick is a perfect day to day wear shade and a good few hour wear out of it.

After Topshop I then popped into boots, I was going to get the new Barry M blushes but wasn't blew away by them so left it, I am a massive fan of their nail polishes don't get me wrong but not so much a big fan of their make up so I was having a mooch and spotted these gorgeous new Bourjois polishes, I wasn't even aware of a new release but picked them up straight away! As it was 3 for 2 also it would of been rude not to indulge. They are about £7 and the formula is stunning, so opaque after just one application and fast drying, looking forward to seeing how long they last on the nails, it says long lasting online so I shall let you know. Then lastly one new release I did want to try out was the new Revlon ultra hd lipsticks, hibiscus caught my eye straight away and when I swatched it I fell in love immediately so had to get it, so glad I did it smells amazing, lasts a good long while and feels beautiful on the lips, will definitely need to invest in some more shades in the near future.

Have you picked up any new releases lately or just been treating yourself to new make up?
