New Year Fresh Start Bull$%^*

Hello lovelies, so same mantra hopefully not same BS.

I really want to make an effort of coming back to my blog and making a go of it in the new year. Get Christmas out the way, all the craziness it brings, wrapping, spending lots of money and eating allll of the food.

But my Instagram got hacked recently and I was so upset Saturday, actually sobbing but not just because of that. It has been a whirlwind of emotions, I've just found out my half sister is terminally ill with cancer so in retrospect my Instagram account of 11/12 years being lost of all my amazing memories is nothing because she only has two years they're predicting of making any memories at all. I am so sad for her and my dad as they are each others rock. She has lost her son, her husband, her mother and her dog all in one year during covid. I mean how shit?! She is so strong and brave, all of that alone would have ruined me, but she keeps soldiering on. She's making a bucket list and although we've never been close growing up, I'm going to make damn sure her last couple of years of life are going to be bloody amazing!

It's really gave me a reality check and although I know life's short and you should always make the most of it. This little part of the internet is why I started blogging. To make amazing memories and share it with the world. Along with crafts, beauty, toy reviews and more!

So, I hope you all have the most wonderful Christmas with your loved ones. I'll be back in the new year, a fresh start!

All the best Paige x

MY TOP FIVE BINGE-WORTHY NETFLIX SERIES

Hello lovelies, I thought I would try and delve back into the blogging world and not just talk about toy reviews! I have some childrens activities coming up, some "home school" ideas/games and I want to talk about beauty products again, mental health and more! But the first post had to be what I'm sure were all doing a lot of right? Netflix binge watching! Here are my top five -

SUICIDE

Hello lovelies, I've been so absent on my blog and found it hard to come on here and write about toy reviews (I am late with a couple sorry) With a family day out too because I've wanted to address something more serious.

FUZZIKINS CAMPERVAN CRAFT TOY

Hello lovelies, I promise my blog will have more to offer than just toy reviews when I finish this project I'm doing haha, my blog looks like an Argos Catalogue at the minute, great if you've got a kids birthday coming up soon though, plus my kids have been loving this craft toy we were kindly given a couple of weeks back. I'd never heard of the Fuzzikins Craft toys before but this Fuzzikins Craft Campervan Carry case* has have the kids a couple of hours play and me a couple of hours peace, win win.

FRIDAY NIGHT FILM NIGHT | BAD MOMS

Hello lovelies, welcome to my new feature on my blog 'Friday night film night', I've wanted to do film reviews for so long on my blog but always put it of incase I ruined the whole film for people or just didn't make sense, but I thought no my blog my rules just do it, so here I am. This weeks film review is on BAD MOMS.

A CHRISTMAS SURPRISE FROM DEBENHAMS

Hello lovelies, so I was very kindly sent the most generous hamper from Debenhams a couple of weeks ago, not only for me but they treated my two boys too. Originally a lovely member from their team asked me to come up with a 'wish list', we all know as a child those wish lists we had on what presents we wanted, I don't know about you but I never got that dream dolls house I wanted aha, but I very generously got all the items of my wish list and more!

LUSH HAUL

Hello lovelies, today I have for you a little lush haul I say little as I didn't get much but it still come not far of £50, makes me want to cry a little, I adore Lush but it's so expensive when you're getting a few bits at a time.

SING-A-MA-LINGS

Sing-a-Ma-Lings £9.99*

Hello lovelies, so we kindly got sent these quite cute goofy looking singing toys a couple of weeks ago and I honestly don't know how to review them. My youngest son Lawson hates them with a passion, he cries as soon as he hears them sing and Oscar just loves opening their mouths and tries his hardest to get them to bite you...

PAW PATROL WEEBLES PULL & PLAY SEAL ISLAND PLAYSET

Paw Patrol Weebles £4.99* each

Oscar very luckily got the chance to review a new toy from the weebles line, he is obsessed with Paw Patrol so you could only imagine his face when we took of the cardboard box and this was shown to him. The weeble play sets are iconic but I love the fact they have had a refreshing new look to them to appeal more to the younger generation, they are so vibrant in colour and very well built.

PRETTY ON THE INSIDE

Hello lovelies, so I was lucky enough to work with another local business the other week and I can't believe I haven't been going in religiously before?! All the things I am obsessed with Tammy the owner of Pretty On The Inside stocks! Candles, Bath bombs, Crystals an more...

#GIRLPOWER GIRLS I'M LOVING LATELY

Hello lovelies, it is a very stressful time and everyone has turned into the house of commons on all social media, so today I thought I would share some love to some amazing girls I know or just love through the power of the internet.

INTERVIEW A BLOGGER | MINI SERIES #2

Hello lovelies, sorry this post is a little late this week and I've been a bit awol on the blog one day I will get a chance to sit down and sort the whole schedule properly of my blog, when Dan works away it will be a lot easier and give me plenty of time to sit down at night and blog more! I feel bad blogging when he's here, I've been in hospital and my dad doesn't seem to be getting any better so my heads a shed at the minute, friends? I don't even know who they are anymore. I have a couple good ones that have been there for me so much recently and I fully appreciate them but to be honest my fiancé and my children are my best friends I couldn't ask for anything more! Anyway back to the post, I am interviewing a bangin babe today who I have followed for at least 2 years now, I have always been a massive fan of her blog I hope you love it!

WHAT I'M CURRENTLY WATCHING | LIFESTYLE

Hello lovelies, thought I would feature something else on my blog, about what I've been watching, I also wanted to start doing some film reviews on here and what books I've read, I think my blog was in need of some more lifestyle posts and I am always watching series and films, I'm not much of a TV person anymore unless its guilty pleasures such as Towie, Dinner date, Gogglebox and First dates nothing else phases me anymore, I used to be a massive fan of the soaps but they bore me now, here's what I've been currently watching with the fella anyway apart from one which I think you will guess.

BODYSHOP SPA OF THE WORLD LAUNCH

The fantastic goody bag.*

Hello lovelies, last week or so a go I attended a Bodyshop event in the Birmingham Bullring shopping centre, I rarely go in bodyshop to be honest, its so big, clean, light and airy in there, plenty of room to manoeuvre around with a pram which is useful for me, I hate tiny shops with small passageways. The whole point of the event was there new launch to Spa of the world, it had been a while since my previous blog event and probably the best one I've been to in a long while.

I've never been to an event feeling so relaxed, pampered and felt like it was all about me and other bloggers obviously. It wasn't a sales pitch or people making us by things it was just fantastic to be surrounded by people with similar interests and to have a lovely relaxed evening. I was immediately felt at ease when I spoke to the manager Elaine who hosted the event, she is the most loveliest woman and so easy to talk to, she was ever so helpful, bubbly and very friendly warm natured lady who I could of talked to forever.

I started the evening of by listening to a skin care consultant and her showing us a consultation on a blogger to help her with her skin care needs then I got told I was having a pamper! Who would refuse, before the pamper there was a questionnaire to answer about how me and my body was feeling and how I would like to feel the results are in the products I got pampered with, I tried out there new Spa of the world Moroccan Rhassoul body clay on a bit of my arm by the lovely Jess pictured above, I could instantly feel it doing something, the clay is designed to firm and tighten your skin, it helps to tone your body up and revitalises your skin. She then washed it of and already feeling smooth she added some more moisture by adding the Spa of the world Hawaiian Kukui Cream, this stuff smells amazing! Well actually the whole range smells amazing but this is the most luxurious feeling body cream, I really did feel like I was in a spa when I shut my eyes for a few brief moments. Why Jess did all that on one arm she tested out two other products from the range on my other arm to see the difference, she started of with the Spa of the world Dead Sea Salt Scrub this felt so good, very exfoliating but when washed of left like the loveliest film of moisture and silkiness, I know films on the skin don't usually feel good but this felt awesome I don't think you would even need moisturiser after this if you are usually lazy like me after a bath but the next product might make you change your mind, for just that extra few minutes add on the Spa of the world French Lavender Massage Oil, this stuff is just wow, smells divine and will help you drift of to sleep once you've massaged it in or even better if you have a partner or friend get them to do the hard work for you!

Bodyshop really want to bring the spa to your home, I personally love pamper nights so this range is perfect for me, I love treating my boyfriend to massages and facials and he thoroughly loved it with the new products I bought, I had to purchase the Dead Sea Salt scrub so good for exfoliating your skin and getting a good circulation going and the massage oil, it really helped us both have an early night and a great nights sleep and he said his skin felt amazing the morning after as did mine. They are so affordable too, I thought they was going to cost an arm and a leg when I saw the Spa range but was pleasantly surprised, I've linked some of the products above so you can see for yourself.

It was lovely to meet up with my blogger gal Clo, we had a lovely Wagamamma lunch with prosecco then headed of to the event hosted by the lovely Elaine, thanks so much Elaine for a thoroughly lovely event and the lovely goody bag, I learned so much look out for reviews coming up!

A LITTLE LUSH HAUL

Hello lovelies, its been a while since I made a cheeky little lush haul! I attended a Lush event a while back and had lots of products left over so was trying not to spend more money on them but with new products launching how could I refuse a little online order?

I new I had to buy The Comforter shower cream instantly as it is my favourite ever bath bar! It smells absolutely amazing, I then spotted Milky Bath, a cute little milk bottle looking bubble bar that is filled with skimmed milk, orange oils and cocoa butter to give you super soft supple skin. I was intrigued by the Frozen bath bomb and partly got it for my little boy Oscar as he loves my Lush baths, he loves watching the bombs do fascinating things in the water and swirl the colours with his fingers, I heard this bath bomb is great! Lastly on the bath side of things I picked up the Yuzu and Cocoa bubbleroon, basically a macaroon looking bubble bar, it is a new formula to their original, I was a huge fan of the original so excited to see how this one goes, I will be reviewing all of them for you.

I then went on for more practical things, I have super bad dry feet I am currently using a fantastic cream from Scholl but for that extra pamper on my feet I thought this would do the trick, Volcano foot mask, it sounds amazing, the ingredients and reviews sounds amazing so that went straight into my online basket! Then lastly but most defiantly not least I picked up the Salted Coconut hand scrub, this stuff smells insane and I've only used it twice and its made my hands feel unbelievably smooth! I'm trying to use this 2-3 times a week but its addictive and right next to the hand wash in the bathroom, I may need to move it.

Have you been purchasing anything form Lush recently?

MAGAZINE FREEBIES I PURCHASED THIS MONTH | JULY

Hello lovelies, I used to do this a lot last year but I have tried to be a bit better with money this year, I'm not really doing great at saving still but I'm spending less on make up and things which is always a bonus. I thought I would do these again but just buy the magazines that I liked the look of the freebies not just all of them like before. I really wanted to try out the St.Tropez in shower tan as I was so intrigued buy it and loved the look of the other two freebies.

InStyle £3.99 Freebie - St.Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower lotion worth £14.50 currently in boots for £9.67 , this is the most wanted freebie I picked up, I had been eyeing it up in boots thinking shall I shan't I? I haven't seen many reviews on the blogosphere so I thought I would leave it for a bit then I seen it in WHSmiths free with Red and instantly picked it up, I can't wait to try it I'll review it and share with you all my feedback.

Cosmopolitan £3.80 Freebie - New Cid Cosmetics Lipgloss in the shade Amaretto worth £17, I adored the colour of this lip product straight away, I love a nude lip shade! The freebies have a handful of different shades of lip glosses or a mascara, I'm so glad I picked up this shade it is stunning, it has a roller ball wand which glides on to the lips lovely and it smells amazing, I'll also review this in the near future.

Red £4.10 Freebie - Jessica nail polish in the shade Confident Coral worth £10.50 but currently on feel unique for half the price at £5.25. I loved the shade I chose but you can choose from a couple more, some pastels and pinks. I imagine the polish is good retailing at £10, it may be in an upcoming 'what's on my nails Wednesday' post.

Total price of magazines - £11.89
Total price of 'freebie' goodies - £42.00
Saving - £30.11 I know it wasn't a full size St.Tropez bottle but still a lot of saving buying the magazines to try out new beauty products.

Have you got your eye on any magazine freebies this month?

LUSH SKINCARE BLOGGER EVENT

Hello lovelies, so Wednesday just gone I attended a Lush Skincare event especially for us bloggers, I love a Lush event as it is one of my favourite stores. I know Lush is mainly known for their amazing bath bombs/melts etc but they also do a huge range of other products from hair care to skin care to even make up and perfume! I could literally get lost in Lush for hours, the aroma gets me every time it just makes me fall even more in love with it, but Wednesday we really got to grips with Lush skincare products, I am a fan myself of Lush skincare but it was really refreshing to learn about new products I had never tried before and we even got to make some of the products which was super fun!

Here the lovely Kyle, one of Lush finest shows us all how to make Angels on bare skin cleanser, he showed us all the ingredients that go into the making of the cleanser and we all got messy in our blue gloves rolling it about like a bread mixture. It was so fun helping to make the cleanser and it just shows all of the natural ingredients that do go inside it with no nasties or anything at all that is tested on animals. We even got to keep a full size sample of the cleanser which I was thrilled about and if you stick around till the end I will let you know how it's making my skin feel and the ingredients!

After we all helped make the cleanser we got to have a sit down and learn some facial tips using the Full of grace serum bar, the lovely Yasmin showed us some great techniques and we all got into pairs to try it out on each other, Clare a fellow blogger friend of mine was my partner and was quite good at parts of the facial, it was very relaxing and I learned a lot, I tried it out on my boyfriend and he was really impressed so thanks Yasmin!

Once we got pampered we all joined around the cauldron and had a witch hunt, just kidding we dropped some Dream Steam tabs into a bowl of boiling water and got all hot and steamy to open up our pores and let all the essential oils get into our skin, it was lovely and the aroma was perfect.

Once we all parted from our steam bath we got asked if we would like to help make a Cupcake facemask or a Catastrophe facemask, I opted for the cupcake one as it sounded more beneficial to my skin type with it helping with those pesky spots that creep up when you least expect them too. We all took it in turns to add in all the different ingredients and all had a stir to make the face mask, it's amazing to see what they do behind close doors and all the hard work that goes into everything made but all the ingredients so natural, that's what I love most about it. After we made the cupcake facemark we actually got given a full size sample and also one of the catastrophe one so I'm excited to see how that one works out with my skin, I love a good face mask, it's not a real pamper without one right? You can see the lovely Sam above tried out the cupcake mask in the shop, doesn't she demonstrate it so well.

Once we made our facemasks we all got a separate skin care consultation on the moisturiser that would be best for our skin and what we wanted out of a moisturiser, above is the lovely Vanessa getting her consultation with Kyle, he was very helpful and I am so pleased with the moisturiser sample I got given.

It was so nice to catch up with the blogging friends I have made on my blogging journey, they become really close friends just by talking over the internet and meeting up a couple of times I feel like I will be friends with these lot forever, it's so good to have friends who share the same interests as you that don't compete or make you feel anything other than fabulous, these girls do that! From the left Clare, Sarah's sexy eye, Aimee and Vanessa , I'm obviously the centre of attention aha.

If all of that wasn't enough look at the magnificent goodie bag we all got to take home?! I was so impressed when I got home and had a look in everything, sadly I missed a train and didn't get home till past 10 so was super tired and did the quickest make up removal ever so couldn't try out all my new products but the day after I went all out and had a real good pamper with the boyfriend, he loved all of the products as much as I did and since getting all this Wednesday I haven't stopped using the products and my skin honestly feels amazing, it hasn't felt this good in ages it is so smooth and clean. I really feel like just sticking with Lush after how great my skin feels once I have got through my huge skincare collection stash and that is a very strong statement from a beauty blogger with a love for trying out new things but I am being totally honest. I will give you a brief over view on what I think of the products I have used so far and their ingredients but I will update you all with lots of reviews soon on the blog.

Angels on bare skin cleanser 100g £6.75* - This is a gentle cleanser with great properties in to help absorb the grease in your skin, leave your skin feeling clean yet nourished and tones and brightens it all at the same time with the great ingredients inside.

I'm not usually one for the 'bitty' cleansers, I just hate the mess of it all but this one actually isn't that bad, you get some of the product into your hand place some warm water in the palm and rub together to make a sort of paste then rub it all over your face, I quite like using this in the morning, it makes me feel refreshed and ready for the day and just leaves my skin feeling fabulous.

Tea Tree Water Toner 100g £4.25* - This is one of my favourite toners I have tried from lush, if you want to keep those pesky spots at bay you need this in your life, its antibacterial, anti fungal and antimicrobial it is also antiseptic and rich in vitamins an all rounder great product for keeping your skin clear and helps to remove those extra traces of make up off after you've cleansed.

  • 'Tea Tree Water
  • Grapefruit Water
  • Juniperberry Water
  • *Limonene
  • Perfume
  • Methylparaben' -

  • Full of grace serum bar 20g £8.25* - A deeply moisturising facial bar, this it most definitely is! I have been wanting to try this product out for ages so I was so happy when I seen this in my bag. It has ingredients in it to help get all the right essential oils into your face but also helps to combat greasiness, I like to use this by rubbing the bar between my fingertips to get it warm and the oils to melt in my fingers then rub it all over my skin, you can just use it straight from the bar on your face and give it a good massage but I think its cleaner to use just your fingertips.

    • Cupcake Face mask 75g £6.50* - I believe this is the mask that is making my skin feel so clean and soft! It has the ingredients in it to help clear all your skins impurities, deep cleanses it but also stimulates and tones the skin then lastly helps to soften and moisturise your skin. You only need to leave this on your face for 10-15 minutes to benefit from it and believe me you will feel the difference the next morning, if you have combination skin or spot prone skin I think you will really benefit from this product, it's amazing.

I am so grateful for the invite to the great event and the amazing goodie bag we all got given, thanks to all the lovely staff who took time out of their schedules to teach us all about the skin care products and taught us techniques and tips along the way, I had a great night and was so lovely to catch up with my blogging friends too. If you have never tried Lush before you are seriously missing out! I would advise you all to go to your nearest Lush and have a skin care consultation, they really know there stuff and can help you with pretty much everything but for those of you who don't sadly live near a Lush or can't get to a store for any reason they have a fantastic website that is really easy to use and very useful and handy on telling you all about the products here - LUSH.co.uk

      • If you have tried Lush skincare before what are YOUR favourite products?

MARCH BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Hello lovelies, today I have for you my March favourites most of them are quite new purchases but I have been using them non stop lately.

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil - After trying out the Body Shop's Camomile cleansing balm I instantly fell in love with it, it made my skin feel super clean and nourished but I am a big fan of oils for quickness, so when I saw this on a whim whilst shopping a few weeks back I knew I had to pick it up. I have never looked back since! I always double cleanse on an evening and I find this the most sufficient and speedy for getting my make up off, even the most stubborn of mascaras and pigmented lippys. It doesn't leave a horrible residue on my face either and just leaves it feeling really soft and I have noticed my skin clearing up since using this product so win win, if like me when your tired you really don't fancy taking all your slap off after a hard day you really do need this in your life, it will literally take two minutes to get your make up off with a hot muslin cloth and your skin will love you for it afterwards.

The Body Shop Shea Beautifying Oil - Again for quickness (lazy bones) I have been loving oils especially now I only have 5 weeks to pop it seems like sure a chore to rub lotion everywhere, which is also difficult as well as time consuming I'll have you know, an oil is just so much easier! I could even put a spritzer in the bottle and spray myself with the oil but I don't, I just dab it in to all the areas I need and rub it in, not like most oils being slimy and slow to sink into the skin this oil sinks in beautifully and fast so you can pop your clothes or pjs on straight away afterwards. It smells beautiful and I have actually noticed that no extra stretch marks have been appearing since using this oil!

Max Factor Skin Luminizer Foundation in Light Ivory - I was really curious looking at this in boots a couple of weeks ago so what did I do like any other normal beauty blogger would do? I bought it to trial of-course! I am so glad I did, I didn't even read reviews before this purchase I just went for it, risky and brave but well worth it! I find it hard to get a foundation to completely match my skin and this does so wonderfully, I actually have this on as shown in the picture above. It feels so light weight on the skin like you have nothing on yet the coverage is amazing, I would say it is medium to full but you could have it as sheer as you like or build it to the coverage you like. It really does make my skin look radiant and glowy but surprisingly is quite a matte finish to the skin but it feels like velvet on my skin, it has tiny gold particles that I guess give it the radiant factor and it lasts me through out the day.  I love the pump that comes with it which makes it easier to control how much you need, the shade Light Ivory I think would be great for Mac users of a 15 like me, I use Mac studio fix in NC15 and this is a perfect match for my skin tone, I love this so much at the minute it is so light on the skin, it almost feels like a BB cream so is great for spring/summer.

Mac Mineralize Blusher in Dainty - If you read my post yesterday on my Mac makeover and mini haul I had a few weeks back I fell in love with this as soon as the make up artist applied this to my cheeks! I was never someone really into blushers at all I would be happy with a cheap palette as I tend to like cream blushers more but this is so beautiful. The perfect pink to give you glowy cheeks with a hint of colour, you could have this quite sheer as I have pictured above or build it to be very pigmented depending on the finish you like. It is super soft and lasts all day without needing to top it up.

Mac Cremesheen Lipstick in Creme Cup - Again like the blusher I got this at the same time as my make over and I honestly haven't put it down since! Usually with my higher end lipsticks I like to use them but not too much as it makes me want to cry repurchasing a lipstick over £15 especially as I like to try different shades out all the time, I feel like this will be a forever repurchase! Watch out bank balance, it is the perfect nude with a subtle pinkness to it. It is super pretty and gives a gorgeous sheen to the lips without being over glossy and lasts a good 4-5 hours even longer if you wear a lip liner underneath. I don't know how I've managed in my life without this shade before, call me dramatic but once you finally swatch it and try it on your lips you will see what I mean!

Stilla In The Light Palette shades Kitten, Bliss & Sunset - I have loved this palette overall but these three shades more specifically, I non stop wear Kitten alone which is odd as I never tend to go near shimmer shadows but I am all about the glow this spring! I am just wearing that shade above in the picture, it is perfect for under my brow bone when I am doing a smokey eye look or all over the lid to brighten them up, Bliss is usually the base shadow I tend to put all over my lid then I put Sunset in the crease to spice things up a little. All three are such stunning shades and very pigmented, for a day look I have even been using the darkest matte brown in the palette 'Sandstone' for eyeliner using a slanted make up brush to apply and it lasts all day. I would highly recommend adding this palette to your collection it has a great range of neutral shades perfect for day or night looks.

What are your March favourites? I'd love to know in the comments below.
